500 69gr matchkings for my axis, gonna make me some basic long range ammo

Re-torque the barrel nuts on 2 (1-5.56 1-6.5 Grendel)
i took off the hand guards to cerakote them and the barrel nuts were hand tight... Drill the gas port in the 450 Busy barrel to the right size. 1-5.56 gas block was mounted offset.

Overall I'm happy with the uppers, just check them out before use is all.

 

I got 2000 rounds of 115gr 9mm today for 40c per round. Not a bad buy really.

 

Just got my latest Rgrizzle Leather OWB holster, this one for my GP100. I really dig this guy’s work. This model is easy on-easy off, like a paddle, only better.

 

So 20 bucks for 50 rounds? $800 for 2000 rds? ??

Yep, around $500 locally IF you can find any.

I keep toying with selling some 9mm, .45, 5.56, .308 [surp] and maybe some surp 06 and .30 carbine. Lord knows I stocked up during the salad days.

Same. Of course, I stopped buying 7.62x39 when prices hit $200 a case. It was $79 per case when I started stocking up. Back then, there were guys on WarriorTalk, AKForum, etc. buying x39 by the pallet. I laughed at them then. Not so much now.

 

Stopped by the local gun store, it’s about empty but did pick up a spare 13 round mag.

 

Yea it's far from an ideal price considering I used to pay 19c per round, but being that it is very difficult to come by at the moment..
I need to keep a supply on hand for training clients at the range.

Haha. I'm going to make a riser for this scope mount like I did on my wifes so it's easier to cock the hammer. I'll have to find a picture.

 

Stopped by local sporting goods store and they had a bunch of ammo and no limit. Bought 10 boxes of 350 legend for my ar-pistol, I think Bella approves.

Lucked out yesterday and went by the ammo place and the delivery truck had just showed up. Grabbed 1500 rounds of 556 nato , yes!!!
