Any of you guys have an Armslist account? I want to get in touch with a guy who’s local, but I’m too cheap to pay for an account for a one-time transaction. :anonymous::rofl::rofl:

I could go through all 816 pages of this thread and find the answer but I'm just plum tuckered out tonight to read each post so I will ask; Does anyone know where I can buy some .22LR high velocity rounds here in North Texas ? I have been to every stinking sporting goods store, two gun shops, and my local target range and everyone's out. I don't want to be price gouged to death and I'm willing to pay a fair market price. Wiling to drive as far North to Oklahoma City, As far East to Shreveport, as far West to WichitaFalls, and as far South to Waco. Appreciate any and all feedback.

Sorry man but every where is low or out. Hit Walmart & Academy as soon as they open. Just about your best bet as of now. Check Ammoseek.com.

Edit: Cancel using Ammoseek.com. They do not have much and their prices are ridiculously high now. Stupid stuff like $2 per 9mm bullet. Screw that.

I'd keep looking on freedommunitions.com, they come in and out of stock and they are not cheap but no where is. I usually get my ammo within a week and I'm on the other side of the country. Locally, the only places I've found with ammo are really small, off the beaten path type places. My bait and tackle shop has cases of 9mm, I never thought to look with them before.

I’ve been reloading since before the Obama freakout and this is the first time I can’t even find the pieces to make bullets from.

$20.99 a box so they are not marking up ammo, shelves were pretty empty
I just paid $35 a box online so this was a score

Ok thank you all. I'll keep looking and yes, I'm in the Academy Sports line every Friday morning when "the truck" comes in. :annoyed:

I think they do the waiting so if you've been in a dispute it gives you time to cool down is my thinking. Here with a CC permit I can walk in and buy any firearm and walk out with it in less than 15 minutes.

In Louisiana you don't even need the CC to buy it and walk out in 15 minutes. Plenty of guns in Cajun country.

Well I finally order a soft side bag for my MCK. I could not find the appropriate size in a hard side case. I got it from Amazon of all places. Not sure if it will be to my liking but it was only $55.

Same in KS. If you have a CC, no backround check. But in KS you don't have to have a CC permit to CC or OC.
