GMG had some 'issues' a while back. From what I've read the QC has improved. :notsure:

I’ve always pronounced it “horn a dee”, but then again I didn’t know how to pronounce geiselle (spelling?) until a few years ago. :notsure:

Witnessed a first at Cabela's today.

I arrived a few minutes after opening, around 9:15ish. There was a line formed in the ammo/firearm department. I ask a guy "what's up?". He says they're unloading the ammo off the truck and bringing it out soon.

I was #8 in line and had nothing else to do, so I hung out a bit. About 1/2 hour later I see sudden movement ahead of me. Employee comes out with 20 boxes of Sig Sauer 9mm JHP.... that's it.

First time seeing a line like that.

i laughed so hard when in that federal ammo video he says "9mm luger round, there is a little demand for this caliber now, there never has been"

and why the hell were they making .357 Sig ammo in that video? The primers, projectiles and powder from that line should ONLY be used in 9mm ammo. No one buys .357 Sig anymore. And 30-06? .308 would be a better option for the same resources, or better yet, 300BO.

i think sometimes its more about the guns and less the ballistics :notsure:
i mean shit we still make and sell muzzleloaders...
the idea of fazing out certain rounds in favor of others would in turn leave millions of guns obsolete or at the least difficult to source ammo for, that would be a real shame

but the calibers they were making in the video, there's usually ammo on the shelves for.
