What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

I spotted one in a local shop . I might go back and offer the guy $100 .

A new 88 is around $200 from my research .

Yea ,I gave it a quick look over about 10 days ago . Rust on the outside of barrel where the rib touches barrel . Didn’t look inside the barrel though . Shop is a disaster and always has been . There is stuff spread out over 4 rooms everywhere. I bought 2 Excalibur crossbows from them around 3 years ago . They were collecting dust on a shelf . One had a tag of $1150 the other $950 . I got both for $900 they were brand new 2 years old models still on shelf

 

It's a Mossie, spray it down with PB Blaster and let it sit a day, wipe off. Repeat if necessary. Degrease and rattle can a camo theme. That's what I did to mine. Looks fine.

Where is around here?? I have a 18 year old 88 that I paid $170 for at Wal-Mart back in the day.

 

They sure have, my buddy just unloaded 2-3 that were collecting dust,,, for good coin!

 

I'm really considering ordering a 6mm ARC barrel to eventually build another AR,,,, it's hard as I'm not done with my current build,,,,, not even close!

 

Do let us know what you think. I have been considering that stock as well for my 700.

 

I've started collecting parts for my 6mm ARC build. I suspect I will have everything come April, when my birthday rolls around. This is purely a matter of WANT, just like my 6.5 Creedmoor build.

 

Small haul today. It wasn’t the best price, but it’s a small LGS and I really like the people who run it and he does a lot for the community. He actually listed the price he paid for them, so very little markup after shipping.

 

I thought I'd be done after .224 Valkyrie, but I still have LR type receiver that needs parts. I haven't decided a .308 or 6.5 the latter I'm leaning towards. I need to research some on what buffer I would need for 6.5 creed. And barrel length.

If you do move it on it's back, just don't lock it when you transport it. You can also remove the doors pretty easily to help in moving.

 

I have the non-thumbhile on my Savage. It transformed the gun. I could not hit anything with it before. It's a tack driver in my hands now.
