What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

I have the non-thumbhile on my Savage. It transformed the gun. I could not hit anything with it before. It's a tack driver in my hands now.

Saw this pistol rack at TSC and thought I’d try it for $9.99, may have to go get a few more if it works out good.

 

I have one in mine and all mine are resting flipped upside down on the rack too. Your red dot should clear just fine that way too.

 

i might need to stop by TSC tonight.

 

I got mine on Amazon and I think it has 6 spots and it was only $10 too for those who don't have a TSC close by.
I know they have one that has 8 spots for $14 on there now.

I hauled a Cabela's/Liberty 30 gun safe in my '07. Loaded/unloaded with tailgate off, laid on its back (door unlocked) under my canopy. No issues with 85 mile trip. Unloaded with an engine lift, used moving dollies to get it where it needed to go. This was right after I had an ulnar nerve transposition and had very limited use of my right arm.
Edit: I think weight is around 550lbs.

 

Revolvers fit really well in it. That’s a Hellcat in the picture.

Did you test it out in the store at the counter or do you live in a convenience store that sells candy haha.

I don’t think I would have tried that by myself and I’m healthy...somewhat anyway.

 

Using proper(ish) tools makes the job easy. My cousin was supposed to help, but didn't answer the phone and I didn't want him riding in my truck (he weighs more than the safe). But, without a lift and/or people to help or if I needed to go up/down stairs, I would look for local movers.

 

My firearm related purchase today was the ATF charging my card $200.

 

Oh I know that kind of family too. Everyone calls me for help but when I need it, which is rare, no one is around. Imagine that. My wife says I’m too nice to people??? I said, Woman, we have been married for 25 years and you think I’m too nice. That must be your imaginary husband. Lol

This would be m other dilemma....I’d want to put it in the basement, and have no way to get it down the flight of stairs. I could probably hire some people to move it, but then not sure if I want anyone else to know I have it. Sort of a catch-22 thing.
