It's not my only AR and putting this on my trust as an SBR is not an unrealistic option for me.

"Rules" are rapidly changing and it's easier to return an item that is brand new, if needed.

I don't agree with the changes, but on this particular firearm I have options. It's more of a collector to me, than a tool.

You purchase the both car and alcohol legally, but combine them in an unlawful way.

ok well, if someone decided on buying something legally for example... and then after deciding to use and or keep it because of something that may or may not happen...

whats the difference between a firearm and a bottle of wine: if they both are equally as fun and they both require some level of restraint...

And that equates to endangering the lives of others. Does your use of a legally obtained pistol brace do the same?

It doesn't always, depending on the location.

No, but if misused it could.

But the brace wouldn’t contribute to it being dangerous. It has absolutely no factor to the lethality of your gun

exactly neither does alcohol (people die driving sober)
drinking and driving is not the problem

its the fact one may be consuming too much alcohol and then driving is the problem...

Basically, we're talking about what is legal.

I'm not far from you on the decision by the ATF, but I'm not willing to take a risk in the battle right now.

I completely agree with this but still don’t understand the correlation to the pistol brace

not the brace itself, but the idea of forking over the rest of the firearms though...

im sure we all agree a double barrel shotgun is/can be just as lethal as a brace on a AR pistol that one is clear, but that alone wont change our desire of having one over the other either

either way though, regardless of how well we can handle something properly/safely, we still subjected to some sort of rules albeit as vague and senseless as they may seem/be

You are three down on the right. Needs a stamp unfortunately, or go to an angled grip.

Length of barrel and overall length changes this.....it is NOT A PISTOL and it is NOT A RIFLE. It is an "OTHER FIREARM"

Be careful of the "other firearm" rules. It's easy to cross the line.
