    I don’t have anything else that I “need” without justifying a new build and I won’t cross that bridge (this week anyway).

    Unbelievable. Another reason to leave NY . Failed background check . Turned in my CDL last year because I’m retired . This is new license. Going Tuesday to get the “enhanced “ license that is like a passport . Reasoning behind this is Cuomo letting illegal aliens get a drivers license .     I believe we (here in ME) have to switch over to that new Driver's License format (Real ID) by October. Required for travel, etc. I have a passport, so I'll just wait until current license expires in 2022.

    I got mine a couple of years ago and had them add Veteran designation to it for which you have to provide your DD214. Ive been to places that won’t recognize it like Home Depot

    What pisses me off is the Mossberg 500 was in the back room of Walmart , they found it when I asked them to look . Now they can not hold it for me since my back ground check failed . It’s $234 . Can’t find them anywhere else for that price .

    Also, not having a REAL ID would have nothing to do with a failed background/NICS check...that has everything to do with the FBI determination that someone is a prohibited possessor of firearms for various criminal or mental health reasons
