    Have no idea why background check was denied except maybe my driver license ID says not for federal purposes. Got my denial printed out . Went to DMV and upgraded my license to “ Enhanced” .Contacted FBI ,printed Voluntary Appeal form out . Now I need a fingerprint card :mad: call NYS police and County Sheriff . No fingerprints being done because of COVID o_O This is the beginning of the end for us legal gun owners . This country is making it harder and harder to comply . Living in New York doesn’t help either :( End Rant :facepalm:oh yea ......all this bullshit to purchase a $234 shotgun .

    Sometimes it’s as stupid as not having fully spelling things out. Like Road instead of RD or Avenue instead of AVE. NY instead of New York. Any errors or anything that is written different that how info appears on your drivers license. Usually most FFL’s are good at checking it over and making sure the info is good before being submitted.

    In Illinois, even when you pass the instant background check which usually takes less than a minute, you still have to wait 3 days before you can take the firearm home.
