I got my future son in law a Savage 22 for Christmas at Walmart. It was a pain in the ass. A much more involved process than usual and Walmart won’t honor a conceal carry permit and the register all the firearms to info

The inards are the same as an AK, only the barrel is heavier. I got a spare BCG, it's from an AK74 that I keep for my VEPR74. It's exactly the same as my VEPR AK74 BCG. What are looking for?

Check out Carolina Shooters Supply they have lots of parts for them. Great place. Good communication.

    Frustrating times right now.

I just built an AR that has not been shot because of ammo. My other firearms already have plenty, decided to build an AR out of boredom. Got into AR's to late I guess.

I feel ya. Just started aquiring parts for mine as well. Was going to do a slow get what I want to make it a great gun build. Well I got the last of the parts today. So from taking delivery on the lower on Jan 01 to getting all the parts was 15 days. The times, they changed my bank account. Cause I still got all the parts I wanted, just much sooner. My assembled upper showed up today. Still need to go home and hold it though. Finishing up preparation at work for inventory tomorrow! Joy! Then I will assemble the lower and mate it to the upper tomorrow night to relax. Cheers

They're fun to build. I like mating the barrel to the upper. I have to freeze my Faxon and use a heat gun on the upper to get the barrel in. Super tight tolerances ( a good thing). Now I just get to stare at the thing with my Vortex Spitfire prism and make believe. I do however have a 9mm AR pistol, so I'm not totally in AR hell.

I added to my magnum revolver collection yesterday. Found a very clean S&W Model 48-4, the K-22 Masterpiece Magnum Rimfire. It dates to 1981, still has the pinned barrel; it came with the original magna stocks, but had a set of faux ivory Altamont stocks on it. No box or paperwork, but not a mark on the gun. it also has the Patridge front sight, which I really like. I took it to the range this afternoon and put 50 rounds through it, after getting lucky this morning and finding one box of .22 magnum ammo. It's a tack driver, I was hitting a 5" round steel at 25 yards, ding, ding, ding....

This is gonna be a fun gun to shoot. Damn thing's as loud as a .357 Magnum. Now I have magnums in .22, .357 (3 of them), .41 and .44

So after many years of lugging this old school handguard around on my regular go-to AR15...I switched it out with this Parallax handguard. I started getting used to the new style of wrapping your hand around with my SLR Rifleworks handguard on another AR and really liked it and shot even better. I started seeing lots of quality builds with the KAG and I really like chocking back on that BCM KAG "foregrip" with a slim handguard.

I may have posted this here before, I'm not sure.
I'm looking for a Nikon ProStaff 3-9 x 40 Silver Riflescope (BDC) (non muzzleloader). I know that Nikon has stopped making rifle scopes.
I've searched and I keep coming up short on finding a new, not used scope.
So I'm asking...I know that there's gun shop owners on here and I'm wondering if any owners happen to have 1 laying around, please let me know....thanks
