Finally decided to level up and quit constantly messing around with trigger and action locks...


Bit spendy, I admit, but I've wanted one a long time and it's almost that time of year for me so I figured it's an early gift for myself.

...buuuuut now it looks like they're made in China so I get to be conflicted about canceling before they ship it.

 

There are several brands of safes made in the USA. Fort Knox is one.

Might want to take a look.

There is also one with round, rotating gun racks - can't remember the name - made in Georgia.

$14.99/box. Only 5 boxes total allowed per customer now. Used to be 5 boxes per caliber.

 

There was a bunch of 5.56 green tip, but I can't shoot that at my indoor range. I passed as I have enough already.

 

I remember seeing that at the NRA show at the civic center a couple years ago. Pretty neat

 

If it's price fairly, never pass up on the ammo. You can always use it in trade for ammo you can use.

 

I did consider that, but I really do have enough (as in a lot) of 5.56, 9mm and 45ACP. I just check the stores periodically to keep from depleting what I have.

 

The show will be back in Atlanta in 2025.

For those curious, this year Houston, 2022 supposed to be Louisville, now saying Houston, 2023 Indianapolis, 2024 Dallas, 2025 Atlanta.

If you can get the Fort Knox you won't be disappointed unlike other they have 180 degree swing doors....
