Met my wife in college and the first time we went shooting, she held up a shot gun on our shoulder like a bazooka. That's when I knew she was a keeper haha. Obviously we corrected her. Shes not a gun nut but knows how to shoot, and can actually shoot pretty well. Doesn't care what I buy or what it cost. So I feel I'm pretty fortunate in this regard.

Mine new right off the bat I liked guns and hunting. It was never anything to question. She is pretty damn tight with money so purchases are always quite a debate. I can’t argue much with her frugality as it has led to things like paying off the house early. It’s a give and take I just have to work on her a little before I can but anything. On the flip side she learned a while ago never to mention she wants something in front of me because I’ll run out and get it. She won’t ever hardly buy anything for herself except scrapbooking stuff

    Does she shoot with you?

If not, encourage her to. You get to buy more guns that way! :D

Of course, you have more to clean, too............

I took the board off the door and used fender washers and nyloc nuts from the back side with the carriage bolts. And the tool hook was $2 at Walmart. Solid!

    Good deal!

I shoot competitively, and there are plenty of women shooters. Think about exposing her to that environment. She will relate to the other women, and then try to out shoot you (ask me how I know).

Wife stories? I taught my wife to shoot my Security Six years ago. She was good with it, almost a natural. doesn't care if I shoot, hunt, whatever. But... she knows how to shoot my pistol and is good with it. I have to mind my P's and Q's. o_O:quickdraw:
