Picked up a DD Mk18 a week or so ago (10.3" bbl) and was able to take the upper home while I wait on the stamp for the lower. I mounted it to my Noveske SBR lower so I could take it to the range this weekend (weather permitting).

Also picked up an M&P22, Sparrow II can (stamp), and had the Mk18 upper mounted with a 51t flash hider for my SDN-6 can. :D

Are you pretty fond of the removable upper rail? You can mount that red dot on the rail, get a flip up rear sight and you'd have co-witness capability. Right now....if your red dot fails or becomes damaged....you're kinda S.O.L. when it comes to sights..... $.01 to think about.

Just traded a Saiga for this S&W M&P 45 ACP. Going to be my new suppressor host once the ATF gets around to approving my can stamp.

I never shot it, and he wanted a nice AK. It's cool when deals work out like that.

You will like it. Just recently sold one and bought another. Great little shooters.

It was a toss between Walther P22 vs M&P 22 vs Mosquito vs SR22 but of course I wanted the gun that was off roster and got one. I am super excited to put some round through it. Just waiting for my order to arrive.

I was in the same boat but just between the Mosquito and the Walther. The Sig seemed to be picky with ammo and only liked higher end stuff so that's what tossed that one out (I'm sorry but a .22 ought to eat whatever you put through it unless it's a competition shooter). The Walther had some negative reports (to be fair, so did the SR22) but ultimately, I just came across the SR22 at a great price so it won out.

I agree my 10/22 eats anything and everything. But yeah that's the issue with 22 pistols is not being able to shoot all 22's.

Only ammo I've had any issue at all with was some Winchester super x failing to eject, but I honestly think it was the ammo as I've ran a ton of federal bulk and even some CCI factory seconds standard velocity stuff through with no problems.

Just ordered a Midway Pro shooting mat, wedge bag, LaRue ambidextrous cheek pad, Voodoo Ultimate drag bag(coyote brown), and buttstock cover(also coyote) for my Eberlestock pack. All for a rifle that I purchased over a year ago. Heh.

I still need to pick up an Eberlestock for hunting/hiking this year.

    Probably going with the LoDrag

The LoDrag is a great pack. I love it and it does everything I've asked of it so far. But at this point, I'm not so sure I wouldn't have been better off with the Gunslinger 2 if I were to do it again. The X3 will carry any rifle I have, but I have to admit, I am a little concerned when I drop my 300 Win Mag in there. It just isn't as stable as I'd like it to be with that big heavy rifle in there as the Gunslinger would be with its metal frame.
When all is said and done, for the advantages it has over the X3, the price difference isn't that big at $299 vs. $199(+$30 when you add the buttstock cover). Although, the X3 is noticeably lighter. Definitely check out the Gunslinger if you have a chance.

I'm sick of this cold, sloppy weather. I think I'm going to go buy an hour of range time at the indoor range and shoot my new pistol.
