What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

I finally got some lead shot 12 gauge and some Hornady SST 20 gauge slugs.

 

Been around 60 cents/round here.

 

It's the same here. I've found it cheaper online even with shipping. One LGS here was asking $1.20cpr for 5.56 and had thunderbolt .22lr 525's for $110. I promptly turned around and walked out of the shop. I won't go there again.

Un boxing thoughts on the Arrowhead.
Glass is crisp and clear for a "budget" optic throughout the 1x8 range. Optic feels sturdy and stout. Throw lever is definitely a nice add. Like the BDC chevrons illumination is good with alternating levels with off in between levels. Can't wait to get it mounted but still waiting on my aero mount to arrive because well Optics planet going to do optics planet things.

Imagine what would happen if people everywhere in the USA stopped standing in line, buying all the ammo they can.....for just ONE week. Take the wife and kids out for dinner, work on your truck, do the dishes, take the dog for a long walk, take the family for a nice long drive.... Or a million other things instead of buying every bullet they can lay their hands on. 'What a world this would be'.

Never gonna happen it seems.

Same as NV Cabelas.

Imagine being a casual hunter who finally got around to getting a tag this year but couldn't buy no boolits to fill it. lol Have seen those types scoping out the shelves for 30-06 and then leaving when there is none.

 

Well, I guess I am a frequent recognizable shopper at Cabelas as I went in today when they opened the guy at the host welcome stand goes no ammo .....

 

Did you go check for yourself, and see if he was telling the truth?

My cabelas was saying people were stashing ammo around the store for later pickup. lol

 

Same here. Employees sweep the store hourly. Tackle boxes seem to be preferred.

Speaking of Cabelas was trying to order a Tikka rifle from them shows available but when I check out it changes to no inventory. One buddy told me same thing happened to him on an order but he went in and was able to get it.

Anyone else have that happen? Its about a 40 min drive from me and don't really feel like waiting for help in the crowd to find out I wasted my time

 

Found 9mm fmj today $1, 223 $23 for 20 and 556 $30 for 20 needless to say I went home with none
