Only Speer doesn’t sell those in bulk, just boxes. Bulk ammo I’d separate into sandwich baggies and sell that way. Hey, you don’t have to buy it if you don’t want to! Lol

You should get some desiccant packs to throw in your ammo cans for storage.

 

Trust isn't required for that. Your beneficiary can take possession of your items via a tax free Form 5 transfer.

With a few exceptions, post 41F, all a trust really does is slow the process down and make things more complicated. The hocus pocus of adding/removing/adding responsible persons not withstanding.....

Bought a renewed membership to my outdoor gun range. Good for a year.

 

1) I was using gdhp as an example as it was the first bullet type that came to mind
2) Speer sells the projectiles in bulk, some unscrupulous reloader loads up questionable cartridges, puts em in a baggie, sells them as the real deal Speer gdhp "uh, we just broke out a box down to 20-25 since that was what people want" bullshit.

When you see bagged up rounds, you automatically assume they are reloads, as that is what you see at gunshows etc., and you should always ASSUME they will be lower quality than actual boxed up production ammo. Can't believe I have to explain that. I would absolutely stay away from anything like this as I value my organs, eyesight, and hands

Ive sold tons in sandwich baggies. I just let them all know they are all factory loaded ammo and not reloads. Not everyone can buy 1000 rounds at a time, but they can a few hundred.

 

If the seller tells you its factory ammo, but they're actually reloads, that's a massive lawsuit and/or a 10 year concrete vacation.

Selling in repackage or baggies is no different than selling open boxes of ammo. Done all the time.

Is it a good practice? No. But times are tough and people are desperate.

 

I bought this to go on my Grey Ghost lower.

 

Nothing special, just grabbed some extras to stash away for a rainy day.

That ammo is all gone, but I do keep desiccant packs in all my other tins. My buddy @CoreyW is supposed to give a bunch of big packs.
