If it means anything I’d probably still buy them, it only really happen on one hole, but yeah if they just backed the perforation a couple of rows back from the holes it would probably work out better.

Looks good. I have no idea how to weld, but would love to replace my rear bumper, it was dented bad from the previous owner.

I use https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/, and they seem to be the best overall with the cost of parts +shipping for me.

Checking between them, BAM Wholesale parts and the Aisin/Toyota parts on Rock Auto, I ask how much did I overpay for stuff before the days of internet price checking?

I think that only came standard on a second gen TRD pro, which was only made in 2015. It's different than the 2016+ trd pro skid plate.

The second gen trd pro skid plate is nothing more than cosmetic since it's still very thin and doesn't offer any real protection.

The third gen skid is 1/4" aluminum and actually provides protection. That will also bolt up to your truck. Hope this helps.

Just used what I had laying around. Be sure not to go too big or else they’ll poke through the top. I think maybe 1/4” is what I used.

Not true mister. I use my oem Tacoma front skid to protect my potatoes when microwaving them. :anonymous:

Your "potatoes". It's like a 3rd world x ray protective vest, just tape your skid to yourself.

If the standard harness is adequate for those lights why do they offer a high amp harness? Just wondering what I'm not understanding is all.
