What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Beautiful truck dude. Which knockoff grill did you go with? Yours looks good and I've been wanting to get one.

 

I ordered it off eBay seller: truck2go It was $79.99 shipped. The letters were already silver and a pretty damn close match to my Silver Sky Metallic paint. I had to drill one hole to snap the top seal from my old grille into it and had to Dremel one slot that didn't line up. Other than that, the fit is great. Looks awesome.

 

What's the output on these vs the stock ones? I've been looking and buying these as well. I want good out put but not blinding other drives. I also plan on doing the amber version

#2 was the only one without oil on it.



So I guess valve cover gaskets? Plug tube seals maybe?

Busy day today!

First, used the Meguiars two-step headlight restoration kit($20 at AutoZone) on my headlights. They were worse than I thought!
Here's a halfway shot.

Then, I painted my hood scoop that was faded.

I also removed the eye sores. Still need to clay bar/wax the area but looking better already.

 

That's scary.

 

Well if I tear into it to look I'm replacing those anyhow, it would be nice if that's as far as I have to go.

Installed some flush mount s1's in the bumper. Waiting for my squadrons to arrive to install between the s1 and ss3...

Still need to readjust bumper mounting angle which explains the side gaps

I just got the locking tailgate installed as mine from stock was stuck and wouldn't open... with the cover installed this is very nice feature to have!

 

More lights are better, right? Put two lightforce ROK 40's on the side of my roofnest for rear lighting. I've got all sides covered now.

 

That’s where mine was tapped into when I had a shell. Worked great.

 

Power steering fluid??

 

LOOOL at the beer bottle. At the dealership we use an old quart bottle to drain that. Beer bottle is far more "classy".

 

Waxed my BSP with the new Chemical Guys hydrowax. Pretty impressed with it so far.
