The stock sound system sucks anyways. I’m not sure more shitty speakers would have helped with the sound. :notsure:

Have been getting a lot done with my trip coming up

Finally swapped out my body mount bushings but the last one gave me a fight so I had to buy a brand new $14 bolt

Built a fridge shelf for the trip. Keeping it in the cab so I don’t have to worry about it

Installed the solar panel and it’s almost finally wired up

    C7D6C1AB-893B-4106-8515-9BE332157351.jpg

I had my UCA uniballs replaced with icon deltas

    BB01922F-9B19-46F1-8084-402804A05980.jpg

And yes I already know about the rust. Will be taking care of that after the trip

    but that droop though

    CB706614-7BEB-41F9-9AA0-D4FC44CB0623.jpg

Finished up the @MESO molle panel and have to wire the inverter

    7C3C9D9A-924B-44BF-B2AC-9CC8BB9FFC78.jpg

Got some wiring done for the new Baja designs bar and it is CLEAN have to remove the old silicone but it’ll fit right in the crevice

    321FA0FE-A93B-4016-979A-3CEC73969DA4.jpg

Still have to do the oil change, check fluids, wire the inverter and the solar panel as well as put together a temp power plug for the fridge

also doing the rear brakes next Wednesday

Had a pretty eventful afternoon in the garage here in sweltering Phoenix.
    IMG-2883.jpg
Installed my hi-lift with brackets purchased from a forum member (Thanks @Tdkrum5 !)

    IMG-2884.jpg
My very-well-rounded front diff drain plug finally came out today with the help of this awesome extractor set from Irwin. P.N.#53227. Check it out if you fancy specialty tools the way I do.
IMG-2885.jpg Torqued the new plug with a new gasket, and refilled my front diff. One less maintenance to-do on my 2007.

Sweet access cab you got there. Any info on your HC rear bumper? Happy with it?

Absolutely 100% do it before you put them on your rig. The Dakars WILL squeak and it WILL drive you crazy eventually. The center bolt was plenty long to accommodate the isolators.

Figured out the rest of the terminals I need for my NAV install. Started making harnesses for the doors (power windows).
Mapped out my two relay boxes (what relay/fuse will power what accy). I need to drill holes so I can mount the boxes to my accessory bracket and I need to start wiring the boxes.
I also need to find where I can run wires from the passenger side of the truck to the drivers side for stuff like cruise, mirrors, etc.

YES! they left the cutaway in the door and eliminated the opening in the panel. Pick one! Now I've gotta cut away if I want to add.

this is 100% true. And the headliner speakers? WTF, Toyota....

nice job @deekyn on the deadening. I gotta get on that bandwagon.

My dog goes everywhere, and his head is right at speaker height, so I elected to not install back there. The truck sounds 100% better with good speakers in the front doors, but no doubt those rear speakers would add a lot.

Damn, those Chicago winters are rough on trucks.

Nice work! Who in Chicagoland does your suspension work?
