Don't mind the surface rust, hopefully I’ll be getting started on cleaning and coating the underneath of my truck this weekend.......if I get a day off. But just got a flowmaster 40 series installed today, surprisingly not extremely loud as I was worried about it being. Maybe it’s because I’ve just got a small 4cyl, or maybe it is obnoxiously loud and I’m just lying to myself that it isn’t. 50mph drone isn’t bad at all, can have a conversation windows down no problem.

Yeah man, same here. Tough to say about the upcoming generation but I wouldn’t dare say some of the shit these kids get away with nowadays. I can understand the encounter you had. This COVID pandemic has been bringing out some people’s true colors. I’ve had to block out certain family members and “friends” because they is covidiots going out anykine places with anykine people. I cannot risk bringing home the virus or whatever else going be passed around. My work was non-essential but my gf is essential. Not fair for me for go out and play collecting unemployment while she bussing ass. I admire you being smart about your choices for real. Plenty of the essential workers are scared to be working in the current environment so I be sure to abide by their policies and thank them for staying open and working, unless I run into one lady like you did lol then I would have to walk away because I no like end up on KBS lmfao! But yeah is real shitty plenty local businesses no more choice but for shut down, brah Tip Top was the biggest eye opener for me. That one hit me deep

It's a summit racing shroud for a custom radiator.... probably not compatible with factory stuff, i think my radiator is like 4-5 inches shorter than the factory radiator.

Got another prototype done the other day. Mounting tabs are all in the right positions now. Got the clearances underneath figured out. Just need to fix a small 3mm gap in the front. Next one will be with the filament I intend to use. A nice UV stable dark grey. Springs and hardware should be here this week, though with it being 2020 things have been taking longer to arrive... If I can get the edits on the modeling done tomorrow, should see what the finished product will look like this weekend.

Last night after work I forgot to see why my door check is making noise. I did bolt the plate and cover (for the inverter) to the frame.
When I was done with that I needed to start making power mirror harnesses. Drivers side is done, just waiting on the passenger side connector.

    I agree.

I know how much you love seeing 3rd gens so I thought I'd share this with you. It's a factory Toyota 3rd gen rear bumper - made out of plastic.
    20200817_192650.jpg
The rear proximity sensors weren't working but the bump of this got them working again.

Not super necessary to cut the top part of the body/flare (for me) with 33's but when I eventually want to move up to 35's it might be more necessary. I too was having rubbing at the back on the flares themselves because of the 1.5" spacers I run.

As far as how much to remove off the flares, I removed the same amount that I did off the body. The reason why I did such an aggressive cut (3") is because I knew I would eventually want to go up to 35's and didn't want to have to do the whole process over again.

Some stuff from the last couple days. Changed my spark plugs
Fixed cutting and modifying my RCI skid plate that i dented the shit out of last year at the Moses Lake dunes, changed out the front steel and cut it further back to get a little shallower approach angle.
Then Hole sawed some holes in my perfectly good Prinsu roof rack.
And then last night swapped out the garbage A.D.D. front tube for a FJ tube! now my 4wd should work again!!

Did you ever figure anything out with this? I went by a driveshaft place locally and the guy told me that a 1 piece on a long bed is not a good idea. He said that it would be weaker and have a bigger chance of it wobbling. I’m still dealing with a shudder at about 40 mph. Drives me nuts!
