The problem I had with it is that I didn't have one. I have a 2012 regular cab base model truck.

There is a protector that covers the inverter wire under the center console. I ordered one for a 2015, come to find out, the converter I have is from a 2011(?).

When I was installing the carpet back into my truck I broke one of those plastic guides for the wires, it also holds the carpet.
Found the part number and will order it sometime this week.

here's a .pdf in case anybody needs something similar.

    Honeycomb composite sleeper platform.

If you were local I'd help you figure it out. Rivnuts could work to clear, or drill and tap the steel.

One problem I have is building things with tight tolerances. I've been looking at a full up kitchen build off some 4' slides. Trouble shooting designs over forums is pretty difficult, but keep on building. It looks sweet!

So I had those, purchased from eBay, and they’re trash. Burned out within 24 hours of installing them. Put on the second set, same thing.

Bought these ones and they’re still going strong. They’re different construction, though very similar lights.

I saw this one up for sale here in TX. Glad it went to someone on TW and not just anyone.

Yeah man I worked with the owner on getting it. It was a process because he traded it into the dealership but he was a really cool guy he knew how much I wanted the truck and jumped through all the hoops to make sure I got it. Lotta respect for him on that not everyone goes out of their way to help a stranger

Still figuring out how to get a couple of stripped torx bolts out from the bed rail.... so spent the day with a dremmel and a flat head screw driver. Still no luck! I’ve tried everything I can find online - bashing with a hammer, WD40, cutting a ridge for a flathead screwdriver, drill extractor. These things are super tight!!!

Got my badges painted, finally. I used Rustoleum aerosol truck bed coating, and Rustoleum satin clear to seal them. Happy with the texture and results.
E8C9F154-FEEA-4166-9A8E-0D3A20A0E1FB.jpg Took some time deep cleaning my bed now that it won’t be exposed to the elements any more. This topper is great, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the gull wing sides and back, but I love them. Can’t wait to construct my bed platform.

Made a couple square holes in the bottom of the center console and carpet piece.
