I had a 17' too and now with a 14'. Drivetrain and software drove me nuts. I liked everything else about it.

Ive heard so many people talk about that issue. My 3rd gen was my first automatic I've ever bought so I guess I never knew how it is / was different or worse. Seems fine to me but that's just me.

Added a TRD aluminum cover for my Volant CAI, complements of Coupe.

Totally unnecessary expense, and now looking for a reason to drive around without a hood.

When I found out this existed, I knew I had to have it. Thanks Coupe.

This was an added benefit, comes with nice backing and seals:

Ya know, the dealer mechanic tells me you can’t grease anything, nothing, not even the drive shaft U joints. I haven’t looked under one, but, if accurate, that’s ridiculous.

    You can and should.
You can also grease ball joints and tie rod ends to extend their life if they’re on their way out.

No sweat, 2nd Gen needle bearings only last a measly 250K miles, apparently...

You know that feeing when there’s some new loud sound (metal on metal? Suspension?) and you can’t find it! :frusty: Like no clue. Can’t even tell where it’s coming from. So goddamn aggravating. May have to take it to a shop tomorrow just to see if someone can help me locate it.
    :annoyed:

Welp i bought plexiglass just incase the glass windows from the camper shell were to small when replacing the whole system. And turns out they are to small which means plexiglass is a go. If anyone has done this do you recommend splitting the plexiglass into two pieces for the side windows?
