I honestly feel that if you want to paint it afterwards, then yes, that would be your best bet with the best fitment. You do not 100% have to, but to make sure the holes are painted to your liking then yes that us the way to go. Like I said before, I drilled right into my fender and other fenders as well, then took a q-tip tabbed it in primer, and touched up all the areas and then did the same with the paint. It would obviously need to be done in a warmer area for the paint to dry appropriately but I have never had an issue with rust. Whereabouts in CT are you?

I don't know if there's a write up on it or not. I bought mine on Amazon
    20201127_181358.jpg
, it was really cheap,, and hooked up the positive lead from the USB onto this blue/white 12 gauge wire that's pulled up for power
    20201127_181330.jpg
It's with the coin tray removed off of the left side of the dash, the 12 ga blue/white wire is coming out of a thick harness, and that white plug to the right gives you a better idea of its location. It's probably been there 6 months, no problems yet.

I need to replace my battery:(

Finally pulled the trigger and got some 32” BFG KO2’s and Method NV 305’s on the truck. Makes it look so much better with the lift kit on the truck. Absolutely obsessed. Now I just gotta put in my new headlights after the accident I was recently in to get some nice blacked out headlights again.

have you tried ceramic coating on faded trims? I put it on my cars and customers cars and it comes out great. Looks like new and will stay that way for a long time.

Dropped the fuel tank and replaced my fuel pump. My gas gauge quit working, since I had to open up the tank I might of as well just replace the fuel pump while I was there. If you have a DCSB you have to drop the tank, If you have an access cab you can get away with pulling the bed. Wish I had an access cab.

Meh i don't know... i've pulled my bed once and my tank like 4 times... i think dropping the tank is honestly probably easier than taking the bed off. Now that also depends on how much fuel is in it.... if its full well your f'ed no matter what...lol

It’s pretty straight forward. I just used YouTube videos and used a addafuse adapter to power the USB port through the fuse box under the steering wheel. The tip that saved me some time was using a paper clip to pull out the blank switch instead of taking the entire panel off.

I'm looking over the instructions for my Dobinson's snorkel to make sure I have the required tools before I start.
The snorkel has a light texture to it. Is there a bed liner spray that has the same texture? I'm thinking I want to spray my Bushwacker flares to match.

Raptor liner can be sprayed in different depths of texture.

I managed to squeeze a 12” sub in the compartment behind the seat - barely. I’m working on a matching box for the amp behind the other seat.

    I'll look into that.
I saw some liner at harborfreight and was going to pick up a can. I don't need anything exceptional, just something to match.
