If you need bags in the bed, here's how you do it. . . Near the cab, over the axle, and at the tailgate. . . Got it all covered and the truck sat level so no issues with the steering.

*** edit - I did drill a hole at the end of the crack
Hmm. Well fuck. :annoyed: 6” crack under the battery tray.

I don’t weld. But clearly I need to take this to someone. What needs to be done about it? @EatSleepTacos

This is nothing new unfortunately. I have cracks there too. I patched them once and they cracked again after like a year. Eventually I’ll fix it again but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Clean your gutters. Use the black corrugated plastic downspout extensions that run at least 6-8 ft from the home and make sure the foundation is not showing. We bought a house last year that was that built in 1946 and when it rained the basement became an indoor swimming pool. In addition to cleaning the gutters and adding the extensions, I have added 1800 lbs of dirt to cover exposed foundation around the house and its pissed poured rained for days and my basement is dry as a mofo!

Good advice. Unfortunately we are in a condo and the pavement slopes into the garage. The downspout is already good.
Luckily it hardly ever rains here.

I have the same problem, The company who poured the sidewalk didn't do it right and now our sidewalk runs into the garage and then freezes the doors shut. Sandbag in front of the door prevents most of it.

Well, it seems the rack will be here tomorrow, and I hope I am ready to drill the first holes in the exterior of my beloved truck!

    Thanks for everything.

Replaced the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs with a set of Philips +150 Racing Vision bulbs. I'm also running a heavy duty wiring harness (Headlight Services) with some new OEM headlight housings. This picture was taken tonight during moderate fog with only low beams on. Keep in mind phones gather light differently than the naked eye, but the light output, clarity, and throw is a huge improvement over stock bulbs and harness.

Well I've only had the Philips in tonight but didn't get any flashes on my way to the store. I noticed the light beam seemed to be a bit stronger up top so I was a little worried about oncoming glare to other drivers, but so far so good.

Had a door dent fixed finally and added a grill badge. Nice pop of color on the super white I think.

The Philips that I bought are the ones he recommended for stock wattage replacement. I think they still pull a little more watts than advertised if I remember correctly, but with running the HD wiring harness in conjunction with them, they are running at maximum power and efficiency now.

Thanks! I'm really impressed with this setup and very pleased. I'm sure the high wattage bulbs would probably look like the sun compared to this but I decided to go this route.
