Pop your relay and replace it with a timed relay instead of the thermal flasher in there right now.

    $10 simple version: https://www.diodedynamics.com/led-flasher-for-2005-2016-toyota-tacoma.html
    $60 awesome version: https://www.diodedynamics.com/smarttap-led-flasher-for-2005-2015-toyota-tacoma.html

Finally got the truck leveled out in the front and the alignment fixed. I had mad taco lean so I only adjusted the drivers side. I had 8 threads showing and went up to 13-14 threads. 6 are showing on the passenger side. This brought it up damn near an inch and was nice and level.

I then maxed out caster by putting the rear cam all the way out and the front all the way in. Dunno what the number is but it’s probably close to 4°. This resulted in a little bit of negative camber (1° P/1.2° D) and the allowable range from Toyota is -0.2°. Long hair don’t care and will rock it as-is. I would rather have the clearance at the firewall and be a little out of spec

Toe took no adjustment and was surprisingly spot on at 1/8” toe in and my steering wheel is even centered.

    Before

    after

Thought I could leave the coilovers on the truck with this tool but nope. Oh well.

My wife wasn’t around to hold the tape measure so I tried duct tape and it worked surprisingly well.

ARB Front and Back Lockers, ARB CKMA12 Air Compressor, Auxbeam Control Pod...
Added more to the NW Punisher.

Did not like the Bushwacker Version of Mud Flaps (Ugly and they do not make them for Tacoma), the Weathertech Mudflaps will not work with Bushwackers Fender Flares... Down to two real choices, RokBlokz Mud Flaps and Plasticolor Off Road Mud Guards. I wrote RokBlokz, they responded quickly, got me dialed in for the right size for my Gen 2.5 with 32 inch All-Terrain tires and Bushwacker fender flares. The said go with the RokBlokz Mud Flaps for 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma-Set of 4-Regular size, NOT oversize. I spent the money, three days later the Mud Flaps are in hand. They looked plain (What I wanted), tough, adjustable, stiff (good), and had what you need to attach, well sort of.

The issue with doing front and back mud flaps with Bushwhacker Fender Flares... Custom and adjustment. The Kit works with modifications:
(Note: You really need a ratchet screwdriver to install without removing wheels. That is also probably why RokBloks went with shorter screws...)

Front Flaps: The outside screws, spacers and washers work OK, could be longer, grabs 4 threads. The inside screw will not work with provided screw and spacer. I had to cannibalize an old pack of TV hanging hardware to find two more medium spacers. I think they should all be longer screws, black button head would be better, I plan on getting to the hardware store to correct later.

Rear Flaps: The inside long screw is not long enough for the long spacer prescribed, grabs only 2 threads, so I used the medium and small spacer with the long screw to make it work. Grabs 4 threads, I think it should be a longer screw, black button head would be better, again, I plan on getting to the hardware store to correct later.

The Mud Flaps did well in mud and extreme rain last night's install, here are some picks:
Front Well Before, see the spot where you need the spacers :
    20210127_130044.jpg

See the Rear Before, not the inside screw hole, that requires a spacer to keep it flat across,
I used the small and medium to make a spacer, long screw was not really long enough:

After restoring the headlights I used Super Clean to clean the grill and bumper and then 3 applications of Meguiar’s Ultimate Black plastic restorer. The rear bumper will be next.

Thanks. It gives me an idea. I suspect it was bought back when the 887's had 2.75" of lift noted on OME's site. I just wanted to see if the current 887's are really only 2" of lift as noted, or like the original, like yours.

Went to my buddies place after work to scan the truck after my morning limp session. Code was for the steering angle sensor that put in limp mode. Has anyone had an issue with this. I didn't even know the truck had that sensor.

Finally got around to installing a fuse panel. Cut and welded some 16ga sheet metal for the bracket.

Doesn’t look nearly as good as some of ya’lls but it works!

Random question, do you know how tall the front flaps are?
I had RokBlokz for my front and rear since 2017. I bought the Short version and I don't see that being sold anymore. So my curiosity is if they just renamed the Short to Regular or just did away with the Short version alltogether.

I had purchased the Short since the stock Tacoma flaps were always hitting rocks when crawling off-road. The RokBlokz performed well and I never had an issue off-roading. The one issue I did have was when I bought new tires. Since I had the Short version, my new tires would grab gravel and throw rocks under my Short flaps and into my truck sides. I recently bought new tires and swapped the front RokBlokz for Husky's. I'm hitting the Husky's on rocks now, but definitely deflecting a ton of rocks from my paint.

Today the Tacoma hauled a empty boat hull and its trailer to the landfill. I left the hull and kept the trailer.
    20210202_102726.jpg
I had a friend with me and we each guessed the empty hull's weight and the cost to dump it. I was 160 lbs and $1.42 off!

I'm always saying that one myself, lol. Your truck is so freakin awesome (btw).

The 2" is in reference to 3rd gens. I have just under 3" with a driver side 3/8" spacer. No armor.

Could be a belt slip? I had that one time when my battery bracket came loose and came to rest on my positive terminal and my oil filter, which melted a hole in it and threw oil all over the engine compartment. That was a fun day.

Moog are absolutely fine and work great. You’d be a fool to pay $$$$$$$$$$$$ for OEM over moog tie rods

there’s an updated chart from headstrong on the boards that’s pretty accurate. I can’t find it right now. Was pretty spot on to what got.
