What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Made a platform (or two) for my double cab a few months ago and have been trying to get everything squared away to make it an official business. Today I can finally show my creation to you guys as everything is finally live. Cheap VORS VE37 wheels 17x8.5 zero offset 285/75 R17 Toyo Open Country ATIII

 

Painted the red rings on my ARB intensity knockoffs black, took off the dumb orange tow hooks as well.
Kinda bummed, truck is riding like shit after my trip to the mountains, maybe its just me, truck feels buzzy and sloppy and harsh at low speeds, in love with the amount of lift but I think peicing together a suspension without a goal was a mistake and will probably cost me thousands more to fix. Could be the dakars with no weight, or that the truck has 220k and is just worn out.

 

Found a dead mouse in my skid plate today...

Pulled my suspension on Saturday. Shipped out to Cali today for rebuild/revalve

 

Running anything in the meantime? Or just jackstands

 

Jackstands in someone else's garage At least its a friend and he isnt charging me storage fees.

If you gently massage those pry marks with the convex curve of a spoon and the spoons edge the marks will eventually completely disappear.

Thank you! I’ve been trying to figure out how to fix it. Sucks that I could avoid these by just taking the whole center console apart, but I’m lazy/impatient.

 

Bought it from AirOnBoard. Only took maybe 3-4 days to show up.

 

I want/ need that front end!

 

Went and picked up a new-to-me Snugtop shell for the truck. Will get some better pics later. Super stoked to have a cap on the truck again.

 

Thats my dilemma.. I'm not paying $40 for that plug, so I can get it in 3-4 days. I also don't want to wait weeks for this one. But i am saving $25 over what you paid
