I am going to be buying some new headlights for a BHLM soon so I figured I would experiment a little with the ones I have now....

Not really sure I'm digging it but it is what it is for now.

Installed the bedrug tailgate mat. Now the dogs won't be sliding around all over when they jump in and out. And my ass won't burn when I sit on it! Best 50 bucks and 5 minutes I've spent yet.

Installed an integrated XM receiver into my Pioneer HU in the Tacoma today. Got tired of the MiFy XM receiver.

bought a bed net...it came with these clips...

supposed to use the same bolts:

    I used these instead

also removed a couple yellow warning stickers.

too bad the factory bolts have fixed washers that damaged the paint. I may have to get some black washers to back up the clips and cover the damage.
and appoligies for the crappy pics.

That's one of the first things I did as well. Funny thing though, the first time I tried to use them I got very disoriented and dizzy like for a moment and had to look away. The next time I looked at it I told the brain to look at one or the other and do not try to focus on both and it worked and has from then on for 5 years now. Same thing happened to my wife the very first time she looked through them driving, same symptoms. Next time you look that feeling is gone and has not come back. But in DFW traffic, I got to have them. :)

Yeah, turning your head slightly is pretty time consuming and difficult.

Bed net? Like instead of a tonneau cover something it's a net? If so, got any pics of it? Sounds like a good way to kind of tie down my camping gear. Last time I went I had to constantly stop on the trail back cause trash kept blowing out and I don't like to leave my trash behind nor burn it (depending on what it is) when I camp.

Nice, sounds like something I'll get a lot of use out of! I have a tail gate extender that I kept from my Frontier but don't have the mounting hardware to mount the brackets on the Tacoma, nor know how to. I may look into it eventually
