Finally I have something worthwhile to post. :). Put my Eibach pro lift, set on 1 with deaver AAL’s. And I couldn’t be happier. They are much firmer than stock but not rough.

inky issue I ran into was one of the rear struts was seized and the pin to hold the shaft in place broke off so I had to cut it off. Also had to cut each of the leaf pack bolts off.

Still need to decide on tires and maybe wheels- but it is a start.

I would get a tube of the epoxy putty and use that. I have and great luck using it on a multitude of applications including plastics. you can get one that is for plastics or just use the 'steel' version. Both hsould work fine for that. JB Weld would also work.
Just make sure to clean and rough up the surfaces.

Took the left leaf spring off the wrecked Taco today and rebuilt it. Also removed the bent rear spring perch. The ones I ordered from the wrecking yard are here and I asked them to include the back twenty inches of frame so when I bolt them on I can use some of the frame for extra support. I also finally figured out the driveshaft splines. The marker paint was so far back I couldn't see it without removing the boot.

Planning on putting the new axle in tomorrow while the leaf spring is still out so the diff is easier to pick up.

Fun, fun. Nice to have some weather that's warm enough to work on it.

Recently got into a front end accident so that’s a brand new bumper. I use the black plastic eraser cleaner from meguiars to keep it black.

Why thank you kind sir. I’ve got it set at 3” in the front and 2.5” in the back and with the 33’s it sits 2 inches higher so I think I have a 5” increase from stock height.

Installed the Diode Dynamics SS3 Sports today. What a difference from the stock fogs! The last three photos show low beams in one, low beams and fogs in another, and low beams, fogs, ditch lights, and light bar in the third. I might have to play a little bit with the aiming, but I think it's pretty close to where they need to be now. Highly recommend!

I was on a little incline facing the building, so the true relation of fogs to headlights are a bit closer than when level.

Alright so I got a bit of a problem that I’ve been noticing that maybe I can get an answer on. For the past I’d say 2 weeks, I’m just driving along bumping to music and my dash and radio screen seem to restart without any reason. I’ve noticed when I’m running my interior lights and my DRL ditch lights and fogs it happens more often. I haven’t had a problem with truck not starting. I don’t know how old my battery is, open to suggestions, it might just be the battery but idk of maybe I’m grounding somewhere with my wiring harness that’s causing it to power off.

Yes it is an RJ-45. I ran a Cat8 cable from the back of it, under the center console, and out to my Midland which is under the seat. Might look into other mounting places, but it works for now.

$40 from AirOnBoard. Honestly there’s a fair amount of play in the plug, and I wish I had only spent $12. The AirOnBoard rep I’ve been talking to about it hasn’t been very helpful.

based on this, I am deciding to just dremel a hole into one of my dead buttons, and use the extension that I have already

Had my install actually finished well, I would try and dissuade you. But between their product and their customer service, I say go for your method. Besides, who needs the factory blank switches anyways? Good luck with the install!
