Yea, I’ve had other suggest that as well. It takes up too much space sitting vertically, and I’d have to buy a second spare to be cool. I need as much bed space as I can get.

Yes, I do agree with your point of view. The internet is a crazy place and most people that will write a review is going to be a bad review and not a good one. Once again, this is just my opinion sir. If I am doing research online, the only thing I have to go off of is the reviews. Like I said, I really do love the look of these, and for the price, I really do hope they are the greatest things since sliced bread. I most likely will get them in the future but I will definitely wait to see the quality and reliability of them first. If you are going to get them, I most certainly will wait with anticipation with how they work out. I do respect a lot of people's opinions on here and you will be one of them. I hope they are everything that they are cracked up to be because I once again, really want them as well. Time will tell.

Picked this up this weekend for $130 + tax. I am aware of the design flaw on these jacks. Will make life easier @ home.

I tapped the wires going to the rear view mirror. Removed the sunglass holder to get access.

I did the cowl intake a few years ago. And I regularly spray repellent on my wires.

If you do a search on these aluminum jacks from Harbor......to include 1-1/2 T, 2 T, 2-1/2 T, 3T, there is a c clip that can be pushed off when raising an auto. I believe there are a few YouTube videos also. I always use jack stands if I go under using any jack, so it’s just something to keep an eye on. I went to get a 2 T that they said were in stock, but were out of, so the manager gave me the 2-1/2 T @ a discount and gave my another discount for this 4 day sale they got going on.

I also did this about 2 years ago to help keep them from getting inside. I wasn’t aware of the engine air intake being a problem though? I think my neighbors cat is helping the neighborhood. My other neighbors domestic bunny likes to be under my truck. If it was a jackrabbit, I’d shoot it cause of all the damage they do.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
I crawled under my ‘14 and banged on my cat converter and confirmed that it’s the cause of my horrible noise when I hit 1800 rpm under load.

I was hoping to install my LED driving lights to match my already installed Sabre LED headlights, but the weather still sucks too bad. All day rain and snow still piled up everywhere here in PA!

I emailed the local dealer to make an appointment for the converter and hopefully to get the CRC rustproofing put on. I checked things over, I had my truck sprayed with Fluidfilm less than a year ago, there’s no sign of it anywhere, it all washed off!

I just bought some frame parts from a wrecking yard. The frame I'm repairing is on a 2012, and it has no rust I can find. The part I got from the wrecking yard is covered in undercoating and as I am popping the rivets out for the spring perch the undercoating is falling off and there is lots of rust underneath.

Sometimes I wonder if the "preventatives" we all buy actually makes things worse.

Added a second Plano case. Anyone know how to remove the glue that holds the top foam to the lid? Obviously a razor blade could be used, but any other options?
