What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

What bed stiffeners ya running? Just put a cap on my truck and am looking for a lower profile set and like the look of those.

Oh man it’s really hard to keep those 2 colors clean . That’s why I went with silver on mine. but to be fair i used plastidip for green n the rest is vinyl wrap. So I can always take it off. I’m tryin to protect the interior as much as I can that’s why I removed the original carpet n put it away n weather sealed the floor . I’m also wrapping the whole truck a gun metal gray hopefully by the end of the year

 

Just watched your new vid... Very nice. Now I have to get off my butt and install mine. I have had it since 02/26/2020 LOL sitting on top of my tool box. You just inspired me or maybe I am tired of it falling down every time I reach for something up there LOL.

If I had a reputable and talented wrap source I might consider it. The guy that did my graphics wrap did a poor job and I now wish I had gone with a smaller attention grabber so it could be replaced easier. Besides, I like the rattle can army green on the first truck. Live and learn.

On the other hand I'm not hard on interiors like some people are (or vehicles, for that matter) so other than seat covers I have no reason to do the work or expense of protecting what I won't harm.

Is that plastidip on the gun?

 

He said it was cerakoted, which is a type of gun coating

 

Got my frame spray appointment moved up to next week instead of April 1st.
They called me and said they can get it in sooner.

 

Anticipating a new rear bumper with swingout, I upgraded my dash cam setup to include a full time rear view camera.

Finally got my Mobtown tailgate plate. A flat tailgate plate I feel is a must have for sure. Got tired of having to strategically place a bottle on the OEM tailgate plate only for it to fall over every time.
