Yes, and you reuse the hardware on the RCI skid

I’m curious if you’ll have a clearance issue with the diff drop.

So I got it on. My bumper is aluminum and coated in Line-X. I actually had to loosen the front bumper to get the lip in! Any time I think I can do a parking lot install I'm always wrong. Ha!

Thanks guys for the info. I 5 out of 6 bolts installed. I'll have to drop it and bore out one of the mounting holes on the skid. Seems it was a hair off. Enough to not allow the bolt to bite.

I drove it around the block. Nothing odd. No strange noises.IMG_20210409_191920707.jpg IMG_20210409_191745310.jpg IMG_20210409_191754948.jpg IMG_20210409_181930058.jpg IMG_20210409_192717123.jpg

Picked up my new stronger rear driveline and installed it. No more vibrations. Also found out that despite my skids being 1/4" steel, I still managed to bend the tranny skid pretty good the last time I was wheeling. 20210409_131940.jpg 20210409_133141.jpg

Spotted this gem today in Annapolis while visiting. It clearly isn't a Tacoma but it's still worthy of a share. Overlanding level - Expert

Thank you. It is the 10. It does so much stuff! Maps are awesome on it. I got it on Facebook marketplace for $150. I'd get it again at the $3-400 price point though. I was just lucky.

This looks nice. I have a Kenwood and I can't get the Android Auto to work to save my life. I'm about to pull it and replace it with something else.

The Taco was due for a fresh bumper. Was gonna call it a face lift but seeing as its the rear bumper I guess its more of an ass lift?
    53BCC4FE-AD8B-4469-BAF7-F88C17C33253.jpg
I used Mother's Back to Black on the trim and Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish on the skull hitch cover. Gonna complete the face lift with new headlights, front bumper cover and a Homertaco Toywerx grill to finish it off. Should be looking fresh when all is said and done!

A few mods here and there and counting....
They don't have a code per say but if you note it in the order comments, they'll knock a bit off. Worked every time for me.

That pontoon boat couldn't get 2 mpg on its best day with a tail wind pushing it down river.

I don't think SeaWorld would approve of the emissions standards on that pontoon boat. Mercury 150hp 2 strokes aren't known for burning clean, none of the 2 strokes are.

Yeah brother work is hard but somebody has to do it. Lol. I took 2 boats out that day. Taking another one possibly two boats out tomorrow. The boat market is still really hot here in So Cal, I'm still waiting for my slow winter season to start, and thank god it hasn't slowed down...

Yup, it was an expensive date.

I just don't trust stock equivalent aftermarket for something like that and the next step up built CVT or Lotus or the like would make the ring and pinion the weak link, it's a lot easier to replace a CV on the trail than a diff.

I played this same game with a 4C LiPo RC car I had, kept twisting axels, got MIP axles, started blowing diffs, RC is expensive enough not playing that game with my daily driver especially when I plan to take it cross country.

Axles weren't as bad as I feared actually. About $300 a piece but after I inspect/rebuild/grease/boot my old ones I'll have 2 OEM spares.
