Could be a bad wheel bearing, i had the same symptoms as you and thought it was the center carrier on the drive shaft. ended up being the wheel bearing.

it was an embarrassing squeak too. the kind that makes people turn their heads when you are next to them at a red light.

I got fresh front hubs and bearings less than 8k miles ago. Heres a pic of the carrier bearing doughnut...

I would call this an embarassing squeak. Maybe it's time for rear bearings?

I can definitely feel my driveshaft drop slightly when I stop and then bump slightly and raise when I start into the throttle.

Yeah that carrier bearing is DONE. If you're mechanically inclined, you could easily replace the bearing and all the ujoints. Borrow a press from autozone and in a few hours you will be squeak free.

A few mods here and there and counting....
I redid all my doors by adding the Noico Red and replaced the oem vapor barrier with Kilmat sound deadener. I can say, my sound system sounds way better than ever. As for the heat, time will tell but i know the interior is already cooler with the roof done. Not to mention, its much quieter in cabin as the loudest thing is the wind noise generated from the roof rack. Time consuming mod but definitely worth it.

    Thanks!
I picked it up from Fellers website, Avery Dennison SW900, and the color is Gloss Dark Blue Metallic, 653M. Unfortunately right now it doesn't look like it's in stock at that website. Maybe try other sites.

Based on your avatar I'm guessing you have a darker blue than I do. My BRM is dark, but still a little lighter than the Indigo blues Toyota had. This color wrap is lighter than my BRM. That said, if you're just doing the roof, not many people (if any) are going to know the difference.

I wanted to do my hood, but for me that would be too noticeable.

What lift are you running with those size tires? How do they fit?

the front is only leveled (lifted 1.5" roughly) everything else is stock height. The only rubbing I have is from the inner corner of the front mud flaps when I turn. Everything else is fine. Have to test articulation though. I suspect I might get rubbing when fully compressed but not sure.

When you get a chance can you post a few more pics. Pictures viewing straight toward the front, back, etc. I appreciate it! I am thinking of buying the same tires.

Yup, crazy how much of a difference it makes. I did the inside of the doors with black and covered up the rest with red.

I've been working on this for 2 months now because of time constraints. Thanks God I only have the cubbies left to do. :D

Having the springs swapped out on my ADS coilovers. Went from 650 to 700. Hopefully it won't take too long.

Holy shit that is thrashed. I'm thinking that's your issue right there.

You may want to look into the threat about beefing the carrier bearing up by filling it full of construction adhesive or sealant and gluing the bearing to the rubber donut, I did this and I think it made a huge improvement.

Especially when you're running larger tires or weight and the side load force on the carrier bearing is increased by increasing your rotational mass that you have to get going from a dead stop.

255 85 16 is an excellent tire size. I think the skinny tires work great. Just wish they had more options in this size.
