This is my daily driver as well and I’m trying to figure out how to make the airbag work too. I’ve seen some people hook up a resistor to make it think it’s still connected

Reinstalled the little protector on the bottom of the transfer case.
Had it sand blasted and then I hit with a couple coats of black caliper paint.

Sorry about the truck but at least it’s fixable. Did the cam manage to get any plate numbers? What cam are you using as well?

Ordered from prp.com and the new seats are the model enduro elite and the old seats are daily drivers

    Bunch of Basic Taco mods.
Pulled the driver side back seat, yanked the plastic cubby, cut off the mounting tabs, dynamatted the entire area, and got the back seat back in just in time for another Gulf Coast afternoon shower. Mr Marv box on track to deliver tomorrow, figured I’d get the truck prepped while I had a break in this ceaseless rain.

As a FedEx delivery driver I can say I see it happen all the time tires get split up @ the hub or left behind cuz it wouldn't fit in the truck so they probably got separated same way

Replaced front brake pads with pad set 04465-04070, Shim kit 04945-0C030, 2 pin holds 47743-04093 and an Anti-rattle clip set 04947-0C010. I believe these are the semi-metallic pads, i think the other option (04465AZ200) is ceramic. This is the first break job since owning the truck, I bought it used, I believe the pads I pulled off were probably the ceramics, as they were stamped Toyota, but had different ADVICS part numbers (V6063-FF in the top right corner and 37331 bottom middle of the back plate) Also whoever replaced the pads prior had only partial shims on it, not sure if that’s all they had or didn’t push back the pistons enough to fit the pads on with the complete shim pack. So far happy with the braking. In the 30 years DIY maintenance on cars and trucks, probably the easiest pad replacement.

Also replaced the burned out headlight high/low beam bulbs with Sylvania SilverStar 9003, haven’t had a chance to try them out yet.

Reattached the temperature sensor wires going to my "Bob's mirrors" mirror.
I crimped them when I installed the mirror but upon removing the Ultra Gauge, the wires pulled out of the crimp.
I used uninsulated crimps this time with heat shrink.

Put the correct bolt in that holds my brake lines to the frame. I removed the bolt (to install a transfer case skid plate), threw it in the bed and thought I lost it until I swept out the bed and there it was.

You should've done the dual anti-rattle clip mod.

I bought extra anti rattle clips when I was buying other parts and haven't put them on yet. Even though I had my wheels off last week for a rotation, I forgot to bring the parts with me.
