Cleaned the MAF and throttle body. Didn’t get an after picture but here’s the before. I don’t know if it’s been cleaned before (I’ve never actually seen/cleaned a throttle body before) but at 190k I871BF489-2328-41DB-8AFE-DF93FA5DD669.jpg figured I’d take a look at it.

Weather was nice for the first time in a while so decided to wash the brine off of it. Was a little disappointed to find this. Guess I’m going to have to look at the vinyl option suggested a little ways back before more starts to follow suit.5C150E2C-A41B-4F56-9EC0-9862278ECAF9.jpg

Nicely done. I ended up only using one piece lol. Time to get yourself a glovebox organizer too!

Ha! Didn't post it but just bought and installed the glove box organizer last week! New surge of projects and upgrades (big and small) lately after owning my truck for 6 years.

Looking over wiring diagrams ... again. Couple more differences between ECM wiring for the two harnesses I'm looking at.

This has me pretty worried about my white 2013. So far, it's only flaked on the engine side of the front fender and front passenger door jamb. Quickly prepped and repainted to keep from spreading and easy to hide since it isn't on an exterior panel.

    The opposite of nicely done.

Ive been worried for a while with the other threads circulating around on here. Thought I might be one of the lucky ones since my truck didn’t show any signs of it going at all. No bubbling, no flake, paint seemed solid. Then bam. Interior and exterior of my truck has been meticulously and religiously cleaned and maintained since I bought it. I don’t feel comfortable sanding, painting and trying to blend exterior paint. The possibility of it doing it again in a different location and having to go through the entire process again is why I’m leaning towards capping it off with vinyl. Fingers crossed yours holds up.
