You can usually reuse them if they were torqued correctly last time. If they were over tightened it could seep a little, but wont really be a problem short term, just look ugly.. I usually reuse mine at least once. I had a diff issue on a extended trip last year and changed my oil 3 times on the trail over 3 weeks, and reused the washers every time, and it was fine. A little seepage after the last time but my oil level was visually the same when I changed it when I got home and put fresh washers in.

Excellent work. Plastic energy chain is a nice touch lol. I am in automation, and we use plenty of it, but never thought of using it for my fridge slides.

Ok to use the old washers, but I'd get some Permatex (#2 I think) or equivalent form a gasket sealant from the auto store and put some of that on the threads of the drain plug. Get a sealant that doesn't harden fully then it's easy to remove the drain plug later. I've done this more than once on multiple cars without a single leak. You don't need a pump to put the new lube in, just connect a short piece of clear flexible tubing to the pointed spout of the bottle, insert the tube into the fill hole, turn the bottle upside down and elevate it and squeeze. This works fine. You can even put a small diameter screw clamp over the tube where it connects to the bottle then unscrew the top when the first bottle is empty and put it on the next bottle.

Unfortunately the Redline bottles I got don't have that on them I did try to pour some in there and It just went down the diff housing. I tried to find a tube I could use too and that was a no go.
    Thanks for the info!

Just got the update my gasket kit was delivered. :bananadance:

So since I have been enjoying the new radio and nav features in my 2008 Taco I thought I would add nav in my Ford Sync daily driver. What a freakin pain that was. Would have been quicker to change head units. Had to download and install updated software, then had to download and install a patch, repeated those processes a couple of times, then had to use FORSCAN to make APIM edits in the Ford computer. I bet I spent 4+ hours on that thing. Finally got it. Now just waiting for a map sd card. Think I will enjoy driving the YOTA a bit more. Need the Ford while the Taco goes in the shop for paint on July 11th. Maybe the Ford will be up for sale after I get the Yota back. I only drive the Ford because the EEKOPOOTS gets killer mpg.
