It is the Joying unit and I couldn't be happier (well, I'd be happier if it had satellite radio but otherwise, couldn't be happier).

Do you think the leaf spring perches can be made to fit or any workaround that you may think of?

Got the internet working on my Joying Head Unit. Used the cerakote headlight kit and I gotta say they look new. Hopefully it holds up over time. Also installed the new auto up switches.

Those are very nice. The wait times were long and cost was just more than I wanted to put in my part time 2008 (drive ~150 miles a month). Amazon had a killer deal so thought I would try the cheap one. Did a budget build with the Atoto A6 (now $43 cheaper at only $189), a cheap excellent rear camera and the cheap Metra harness and dash kit. I couldn't buy a head unit at Best Buy under $300. I have $256 total in this one and it jams. Same setup now is only $213. Already had the Kickers and Subaru tweeters. The specs say yours is much faster with more storage (mine is only 2gb + 32gb). I don't think that matters to me. I only cared about dumping the factory unit and this is perfect for my needs. I mostly listen to usb music, play xm-sirius thru my phone or pandora. I sometimes use android auto and pull up a youtube live video. I rarely use the navigation. If the Atoto gives me problems next time I will spend more. After 3 months I am extremely happy. Love the wi-fi.

The love of my life, is just about to roll over 300k. So I got her a birthday present (dont tell my wife) ... I can't believe I'm still driving on the original u joint.... But I've decided long ago, she doesn't have to break down, to get attention.

I'd love to hear if any one with an automatic got 300k out of a u joint?

It's leaking from the bottom of the 8 Inch case seem with the housing, I have already tried to fix the leak, and I Wanna give it some good maintenance replacing the housing is my preferred choice to fix.

I never replaced cam tabs and have no need to at this time. I am just interested in the process. Do you only tack weld these on or do you full bead weld them.

Do you pre-heat the lca mount first. Curious how much distortion is created, or acceptable, by the heat generated. Just trying to educate myself in case one of ours needs this one day.

Stitch welds. Move around a lot. Do some on the front, some on back, give it a chance to cool, not get scorching hot all over. Depending on which kit too. The Marlin kit requires a lot more welding. If it were me, I'd just put some welds behind the OEM tabs before trouble happens, but mine are already smushed

Our 2008, with full records from mile 1, now with nearly 85k miles, has NEVER had an alignment but still is tight, steers straight and never wears a tire. The 2012 has nearly 160k miles and I don't know the entire history before 40k miles. It doesn't wear tires and the steering is straight and tight but I have never looked at those tabs. I figure that's the one that would need attention first. Thanks for explaining that.

I dont have any rattle. I get a little intake suction noise at take off (which I can enjoy). Other than that, no other noise. I used a 3" plastic inlet piece from Spectre Performance over the new 3" hole attached the coupling from Upgr8 and then to the elbow. Set of nice hose clamps to finish it up. Easy Peasy

Anything can be done with a cut off wheel and a hot glue gun (welder). Or if you are wanting to get some lift, I’m sure you could figure out a spring over lift for it. but I was trying to do some research to educate myself, and I’m pretty sure the widths are different, not 100% sure though, my google search abilities aren’t very good

Topped off my brake fluid. It was just below the low level so hopefully that solves that brake light thing that was going on yesterday. Then I cut some holes and ran out of light.

My 2010 DCSB TRD OR just rolled 298K. I got it at 289k from a buddy that bought it new. The only thing it has had replaced is a starter, front wheel bearings on both sides multiple times, the U-joint that connect to the diff yoke and of course brake parts. Everything else is all original.
