Took it to my local (90 minutes each way) Krown applier for rust proofing. Gotta take care of this so that I can get to 300,000 maybe even 500,000 miles!

When I installed mine I torqued it to whatever specification was listed on the package, I can’t remember what it was, but if it says 12, go with 12. Just check for leaks for a couple days, which is much easier than replacing the lower oil pan because it’s stripped.

Had an unbelievably positive experience with our local shop in Mesa (State 48 off-road / AZ toy pros). I try to do most Of my own modification / maintenance service on my 2008 but when you’re working overtime & have 3 kids and just need your truck heavily serviced to keep it as reliable as possible, it can be tough to find a shop that you trust that is very comfortable with heavily modified trucks.
I had my water pump, thermostat, drive belt, coolant flush, rad hoses and cap replaced along with a full brake service including rotors, pads and front SS brake lines, an incredible alignment & full transmission flush from these guys on my 152k mile 2008 and let me tell you the experience was nothing short of incredible. These Toyota experts have great rates, take no shortcuts & can be trusted to take the time to discuss and properly inspect & recommend needed services for your Toyota. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with their shop and my services that were provided. Do not hesitate to call these guys and get scheduled in for service / modifications. Screaming 10/10 experience. Their turn around time was wicked fast also which is great. @state48overland

I'll grab an updated pick in the next day or two for you. The truck is currently sitting in my warehouse at work.

What you thinking of it so far? I’m considering this option instead of a rooftop tent

Loving it, I switched out my hard shell for it because I wanted to shed some weight and have a little more versatility in terms of being able to fold it down if I needed to load something tall in the back. I wasn’t using the roof racks on the old shell and never really kept anything of value in the bed so I never locked it. Plus I think they just look awesome.

you could always do a Softopper with a rack over the top of it to mount the tent to.

Long day yesterday. Did DIY alignment today. You can see the flattened cam tab in the first pic. Couldn't get an alignment because of it and it pulled right a touch. Installed Total Chaos cam tabs. She drives straight now!

Might as well install sound deadening while you build the platform, that way you only have to take the panel off one more time for the install of both.
