Do you know if the iDataLink Maestro will also show the transmission temperature? I currently have the ScanGauge II and it shows the tranny temp but I have been thinking about getting rid of it, if it will show it thru my Pioneer radio with the iDataLink Maestro wiring harness. Currently, I have the PAC wiring harness on my Pioneer radio. If the iDataLink Maestro does show the tranny temp.. please add pictures would love to see. Thanks

To those whose rear view mirror temperature reading is noticeably off:

Hey y’all, so I just got my truck back from the body shop and noticed that my outside temp reading was drastically off, 10-15 degrees or so. Upon inspection, it had become dislodged from the metal bracket and was dangling. Apparently that’s enough to cause a 10-15 degrees difference, because once I ziptied it (the plastic snap in portion was broken off) back to the metal bracket, all readings returned to normal and I mean precisely to what my phone weather app reads. 05F16215-2282-4F7A-AEC1-3E2B98724122.jpg

Truck looks great. What vinyl did you go with? Was thinking of tackling the hood and roof when the weather warms up. Got any tips/tricks to share.

I installed my Morimotos XBs over the holidays too. I also did my first ceramic coat/spray, and wow what a difference! My Tacoma looks brand new again.
I started with the Mothers CMX (prep)3-in-1 Polish and coat (since it had previous wax)...this alone made all the difference in the world. Then the next day I did the CMX Ceramic Spray, I even spayed this on the trim. It took out all the swirls and flaws in the clear coat, and repels water/dirt 10X better than any wax.

I went with an off brand ebay vinyl that I've used before when i wrapped my camaro which is still looking pretty good after 8 years, Only advice I can give you is be very patient. Clay bar the surface then spray it down with rubbing alcohol. Glass the vinyl over the hood as tight as you can after you remove the backing. It makes it easier to stick on without having to use the heat gun too much for problem areas that might come up.

In a couple of hours while drinking a brewskies and listening to some music. Gotta make sure that trash is secure while out in the trails. I used 2 of those stiff chain links.
