    These ones are from Dobinson. I bought them a little over two years ago with some suspension components as a "just in case" the stock boots tore after my lift.

    For context, a couple months after the lift, I broke a CV on the trail and discovered later that the PO had replaced the stock CV axles with some cheap, mis-sized axles. All that to say I replaced them with NAPA axles that came with "high performance" boots. Turns out NAPA uses different suppliers for that specific PN. The boots on one of the NAPA axles have held up great. The boots on the other NAPA axle degraded and tore after about a year and a half (good amount of wheeling, the actual CV axles is fine).

    So I naturally replaced the boots on the one axle with the Dobinson ones in the pics. Still have another set of the other boots start to deteriorate (so far, all good though).

    The prices have gone up a bit since I ordered, but here are links for the inner and outer boots. They seem to be decent quality but time will tell. One thing I will say is that they use a style of band that you ideally should have a special tool to correctly fold-over to tighten/tension (not the type that uses CV band pliers), which can be kind of a pain if you don't have the tool (but still doable).

    So last night I finally got my trans up to temp to get the fluid flowing and get a proper amount of fluid into the trans after adding a bigger cooler, and I tightened my parking brake (finally) its been loose since I replaced my drums in the fall. O and when I was adding ATF to the trans I grabbed Toyota ATF Type-IV instead of the ATF WS trans fluid. :bananadead: So now I need to do a whole trans flush with the right stuff. I did call a master tech at Toyota and he told me its not a big deal just to replace when I can with the proper fluid. Also got another alignment at a different shop this afternoon to see if they can fix it.
    :spending::spending:
    I need to stop messing with stuff and costing myself more money lol

    I edited them, I think the tracking data in the URL messed them up. Should be good now.

    This was actually done several weeks ago. I got sick (....and tired) of dealing with the HVAC control back lights going out. Replaced bulbs, added solder to the contacts, ...... nothing helped long term. So I made some hold-downs from angle brackets. Seems to have put this nagging issue to bed.

    Perforated vinyl. Cheap and were in stock so only took 2 days to get to me.

    Truck is a 2005 so no airbags in either the bench or the buckets. Just had to swap over the seat sensors and wiring and make a spacer for the rear left driver's seat mount so the seat sat level.

    Dang. I was hoping yours had airbags and you found a easy way to do the swap. Thanks.

    You really can't beat Clazzios. Had leather ones in my 3rd gen for 5.5 years and looked new when I sold it. The leather is only in the center and the bolsters are PVC. That PVC held up just as good as the leather, in the 2016, so now we have the perforated PVC in our 2008 and 2012 that were only $230 each pair. I have been sold on this brand since January 2016.

    My truck is current in the shop, and I want to order some mods . Could someone do me a solid and measure the distance between the drivers' seats?

    I need to know the maximum width of a speaker box I can put in the backseat, but I want the seats to still recline all the way. So i need to know the width I'm working with. Thanks! (not my picture lol)
