I posted this in a CB install thread but it’s not in the 2nd gen area.

You don’t have to take the interior apart to mount here.. I used a small ice pick to make pilot holes then a really short screw diver to mount the bracket.

Installed stripping on my faux trd pro grille today. Much better than the crap they sent me with the grille.

This actually happened several months ago. Installed a new head unit and back-up camera on my boys' '07.

I had one of my boys under the truck running the wires for the camera in the frame while the other was butt splicing and heat shrinking the harness adapter to the radio harness. Great project for spending time with the boys. Awesome little head unit. Can't beat it for the price. Tons of functionality. It was on sale on Amazon and I got it for $170. I had some reward points at Crutchfield and that's where I bought the camera.
Big shout out to @mrproduxn for turning me on to the unit and his recommendation regarding the Scosche dash kit and harness.

I didn't take any pics but had a really productive morning. I replaced both front axles, changed the oil, rotated the tires, greased the drive shafts and installed new cabin and engine air filters. This was my first time replacing axles, Went really smooth. Only took me 4.5 hours to do all of it.

Playing catch-up. My boys added a MBRP exhaust without my help last month to their '07. Very proud. And we also added a 2" Rough Country lift.

Turned out nice. We added a 1-1/2" block to the rear along with the new RC shocks. I really liked the coils and the shocks coming pre-assembled. The only tough part was getting the UCA connected after installing the new shock assembly. Fun project.

Waaay past due oil change. Finally warm enough in the driveway. Lubed the zerks with red and tacky. Also topped off the coolant...it was just above "low"
Life hack - a Dunkins cup is perfect for removing the oil filter and catching all the drips.

I ordered the little filter like yours. Went and changed it this morning, pulled the original little plastic filter holder, hell there wasn't a filter in it. Oh well, it's filtered now.

Well got the truck aligned friday night and they adjusted my SPC UCA all the way in to get my alignment close as they could which I have never had them adjusted in at all and now my tires are rubbing the UCA. I don't know if the new shocks are to tall or what but I am going to get a second option tomorrow if I can. I have about had it with these front shocks and I'm about to throw my old Nitro chargers back in and call it good. O and I think I now also have drive line vibe going on too. Hard to tell right now but now there is one more thing to deal with.

If I have to much preload on the shocks can I adjust that and bring it down some and make it better to align? I'm not great with suspension geometry.

Finished my baby lift! Eibach pro truck struts at 1.6” front, 1.5-2” aal rear. Long story short, the strut mount stud and nut closest to the engine bay had to be cut with a hand saw, ball joint had to be cut off, one UCA replaced, center pin and u bolts cut down, CV axles removed from hubs (sway bar bolts stripped so I couldn’t remove). Conservatively 25-35 hours into it from Wednesday thru Sunday morning. Next up is taking it in for an alignment. Already have new cam bolts as they’ll have to cut off the old ones.

    Here’s a before and after.

Thanks man! It was time for a wash! Hopefully no more snow this year but no guarantees. Lot of rusted nuts and bolts but the frame is SOLID and body is great for a 2012

    Had 16 Sport. now 12 SR5 & 08 TRD OR all AC's
This has been listed on my local CL a couple of times recently. Think he started out asking $12,500 and now asking $11,500. It is a 4 banger automatic with 90k miles and dual exhaust. I like the mini Sport conversion with the hood, grille and rear bumper. I just dumped a bunch of money in a high yield cd so not willing to pull money out of my savings just yet. I will certainly consider it if it drops much more in price. I had a 2000 similar white reg cab PreRunner that I loved. That one had the die hard 2.7 auto and was trouble free through 225k miles (sold at 160k, friend sold at 225k).
