Its a great look! I painted mine last year. Did my old Malibu in 2016. Had matching rides for a while. Id like to see more Tacos with off color roofs.

The same shit everyone else has.
Continued with my mission to fix little things that bother me.

I noticed a small rattle in the rear suspension.

The Daystar cradles were lose because they’re made of really soft urethane and have compressed after 5+ years of being on the truck. I went to tighten the bolts that go through em but instead of tightening, the bolts just snapped because PA loves to hose everything in salt water all winter long.

I replaced all the hardware on the Daystars and the mounts with stainless and reinstalled everything.

I probably have to regrease this joint once or twice per year to prevent that godawful squeak that plagues our manual tacos. Hopefully this'll extend the lube service interval for longer than that haha

i cant tell from the pics, but you can add a bead behind the factory tabs to help it from bending. i bent the top of a 12 ton press getting my white line bushings in.

Had all three u-joints and the carrier bearing replaced today. Two of them were seized and the last one was going out. It’s a night and day difference for the vibration and noise.

I've been considering doing this after I found some clear coat failure on my roof a couple months ago. Did you paint it yourself? I'm considering just plastidipping it for the time being.

Replaced the plastic fasteners in my wheel well to match my ucas, bump stops, and sway bar bushings bc, idk, it's cheap and I'm running out of mods ideas that won't cost me a paycheck. 5 dollars for a 20 pack on Ebay. And then (older mod from a couple months ago bit forgot to post) a fire extinguisher + mount.

Not much just added some preload to the coilovers to bring the front back up after it settled some.

Had to get the needle attachment and grease gun out the other day for the dreaded Dakar creak and squeak . Got between the leafs best I could then sprayed them down with silicone spray . Noise gone :pumpkin:

Had some small parts show up so I can continue working on the truck. I hope to have most of the interior switches wired to the relay box today. My air compressor is being delivered tomorrow so maybe I can get that mounted and figure out the wiring.

    how reliable is that unit?
How does it look from the side ? (Behind the screen)
Did you loose any of your OEM features ?
Was it plug n play ?

Also where did you get it? Stinger doesn't have it in their website anymore. Not sure if it has been discontinued or it's out of stock.

I did, its base/clear. Id stay far away from plastidip. Vinyl is the way to go if youre apprehensive about paint
