i've been looking for a while (years?) and it simply doesn't exist. i've also been looking for individual auto switches to try to retrofit but for some reason these things are harder to find than illegal drugs.

there are some jdm/uk RHD units with the auto switch on the right, i might try that next just to get the damn switch cap and relay.

lol look at this... they even sell them both in the same listing. you would think some enterprising person overseas would get the bright idea to design a dual auto and sell it for 50 bucks...

Swapped out the clear lens for amber lens today on my S2 Sports. They look cool, but not sure if I'll keep them amber or switch back to clear. I just wanted to try something different. They do match up with my amber DD fogs nicely though.

Figuring out how to pull out the pins was the hardest, but it works. Re-pin 2011 harness to 2012-2015. Passenger side next.

Damn, that is sweet! I've been running around capless because I just needed to break up all that bronze. Couldn't come up with any kind of idea for a center cap that was different. Never thought about reversing things. Great idea.

    minor tweaks
I tried out a large Plano plastic bin for storing stuff in my DCSB, to me the shape of the bin causes allot of wasted space. I decided to build something in that will hold most of the stuff I carry like tools, bottle jack, bow saw, axe, compressor, recovery gear (except traction boards) and the other spares (hitch, belty) etc that I lug around in the truck.

Started out with some 3/4" plywood cut to fit in between wheel wells.
When done it's 2 pieces, a base and a deck with a access door.

The whole assy is pulled down and forward with some turnbuckles. I'm waiting on different mounts for some gas struts. The door will stay open when leaned against the front of the bed.

All the stuff I carried Plano case and under the the truck's back seat fits into this area.

Door stays closed with a lockable slam latch.

Pretty happy with the way it turned out, I ended up with more storage room then with the Plano case and the bed is more usable with better load holding and gear carrying options for stuff like tents and sleeping bags.

Really nice work. Putting those turnbuckles inside was a good idea.

I’ll take your OEM Passenger Side after the swap if you don’t mind parting with it. Mine no longer works properly.

Thanks! Yeah I did the same, I started with capless last year when I got them, then ran the plain black ones for a bit cleaner look but still kind of awkwardly plain. I couldn't find any regular TRD stickers to match the matte bronze enough to my liking, def recommend the overlay

What carpet is that? Looks to match the bed cap very well, looking for what I want to use on my headliner and camping platform setup

it's some really cheap stuff from Lowes, it looks exactly like what they use for the inside of the caps. 83 cents a sq foot.
