Goodbye 3:73, been happy with 4:30! I feel like I have my low end torque back and more power at highway speeds.

    IMG_2524.HEIC.jpg
ECGS was great to work with, still waiting on that core refund though.

On my continued journey on attempting to create a Lexus quiet cabin with my Tacoma I added the door edge seals to the left and right sides on the rear doors as the final touch. Roof, back wall, floor, and doors are all sound deadened, now I need to get rid of the garbage exhaust I installed...

    IMG_2814.HEIC.jpg

As much as the KM3 mud tire pattern looked great they were loud and worn down. Switching to the KO2's has been the best improvement I’ve done to my truck in a while and I only broke one TPMS sensor installing them!

    IMG_2704.jpg

Between the sound deadening and KO2's I can finally have a normal conversation at highway speeds!

Installed ECGS bushing, pretty straight forward and seems to have cured some of the vibes coming from the truck. Might have to check left rear wheel bearing and maybe left CV axle for noises now. Funny how you cure one ailment only to hear OTHER noises.

Few more things today on the Taco. Debadged the tailgate, not too hard with some fishing line and a decal removal wheel. Also installed a 2 row Mishimoto radiator. Install was straightforward, nothing out of place and everything bolted straight up. They provided some 3m adhesive foam to fill the gap on the side of the shroud. Could not get the truck over 190 degrees on the highway, doing full throttle and highway speed tests. Old oem radiator was showing 207 degrees. Happy with the results.

Was in between CSF or Mishi for the rad, the "lifetime" warranty seemed like a good deal, time and some hard towing will tell how this holds up.

I zip tied the covers on the trans cooler lines because of the 6 speed.

I will report back with rad performance on a hot day while towing.

    damn…

just when I was about to pull the trigger on CSF thinking it was the only or best option due to work being a dealer knock price down to $350

gonna check what their price is on Mishimoto if they can even get it

lifetime is way better warranty than 2yr
    Which is low…
not to mention mixed reviews on CSF on the internet in general

Any Mods? One. Maybe two, tops...
Which part number did you used? Not able to find it in the Mishimoto website :anonymous:

That's the one! You know I wasn't sure about it either between brands. The CSF and Mishi both install easily it seems. I drive this thing like I stole it and tow an enclosed trailer a lot so I wanted as much cooling as possible. The welds look nice, sucks it's all covered up!

I installed some DRT Fabrication shackle hangers as well as the cross bar. Drilling out the rivets was definitely a PITA!
