Underneath my truck hitting everything with degreaser before I pressure wash it. I’m taking care of some surface rust with Corroseal then planning to hit it with the ol’ Fluid Film tomorrow. Hopefully good for another winter!

Finished the rear interior relay panel tonight. The whole thing is wired to come alive through an aux tap in the fuse box to the relay switch pin, but I chose to do 6 relays incase I ever need to wire some to a switch.

the bluesea bussbar was slightly shorter than the terminal block so I had to do a janky spacer setup to fit everything in the foot print.

I’ll follow up soon when it’s cut out and mounted in the truck. Front interior panel up next.

    that masking tape is nice.

I write mine straight on the oil filter with paint marker. Which is hard to do and looks like shit.

I wonder how you like the easy squirt gear oil. I ordered a jug that I plan to pour into a pump and pump it in my trans. Idk if the easy squirts would even fit up there to squeeze in.
Or if they would allow full drain of every drop into a pump bottle.

depends on what you have I guess.
Work has a big transmission fluid pump so I’m gonna clean it out with brakleen and borrow that for the job.

It actually is. I enjoy building PC’s. It’s an expensive hobby though…so, it’s very infrequent when I do build one.

The flex fill bags of gear oil are great!! I cut the end off so the application hole is larger and the oil flows out with no issue. It's less than a minute for each bag and the gear oil just starts to weep out the fill hole as the 3rd bag is emptied. You can squeeze almost all of the oil out and roll it up like a tube of tooth paste, from back to front!!

Agreed. I used them about 2 months ago and wondered how it took so long for someone to invent them.

...and hey, look, I found the fire pit!! This was so close to being a 4-5 way disaster it's not even funny (been working on PM, no skid on at all and only missed needing a new tire by about an inch, got close to taking out the Fumoto, but just superficial dings on the frame/crossmember. But, lady luck was apparently breaking a sweat for me today..was soiling myself too much in the moment to get a "in it" picture unfortunately..

Picked up a 2012 V6 PreRunner today. Got an absolute steal of a deal on it. Going to be getting it up to snuff over the next month or two so that I can sell my full size truck around th first of the year and the Tacoma will take over daily duty for a while. Going to start with all fluids, a full vehicle detail, and tracking down what the small front end shimmy is.

Yep totally agree. I got my old PC before the 10 series GPUs from Nvidia came out. It can’t run crap now, but thankfully I have a pretty decent laptop that can run most games for the time being. The truck keeps draining all my fun money

They're already tinted but I'll definitely be replacing with ceramic eventually. Want to get it mechanically up to par first so I can offload the diesel sooner rather than later.

Might need a roof rack after all. Had the Martin and sold it awhile back. Thinking of Yakima/Thule bars if I can find something very low profile.
