I was excited to hit 222222 right in front of a dealer yesterday. Oil change today and coolant flush tomorrow. I think some of the roads in Arizona rattled my coil packs loose a couple thousand miles ago so I tightened those… oops

Yes. Use a rubber mallet or put the nut back on with a piece of wood and a hammer if the axle won't come out easily

When I bought my truck back in 2020, it already had the K&N CAI setup on it so I just rolled with it. However, the more I've read and talked with others the more I wanted to ditch the K&N and go back to the factory "true cold air intake". I ordered this complete intake setup from ebay for $100 shipped. I put a brand new Wix air filter in it and swapped over the MAF sensor. All I need to do now is get my OTT tune updated for this configuration. I'll probably relocate the secondary air pump back to its original location at a later time. 1000000194.jpg 1000000195.jpg

Blades landed - I'm going in tonight. Wish I could say that for the hardware, perfect timing to order in the beginning of Black Friday madness. :annoyed:

Holy shit! First side took about 10 minutes. I estimated about 2-3 minutes of actual cutting time and the rest was trying angles and finding something to prop the LCA up with. Other side was set up and cut off in less than 3 minutes. Light pressure, 4-5 progress checks and B'laster squirts. Ancient Craftsman 6A 1-1/8" stroke saw, Milwaukee #5261 blade.

Had a total flat this summer on driver's front (Taco lean side); the things are so long, the flap was dragging on the ground!

Yep, got OEM arms ready to go. Doing pretty much a stock-plus "build" essentially, doing as much OEM parts as I can (or at least until I run in to things like a straight 10" run of clutch reservoir hose for $65). The thing is so clean underneath I thought I would get away with re-using the hardware, but guess not, hah!

I picked up a set of flaps off someone to try out cutting all but a few inches off and then making some EPDM flaps with them, but that's pretty low on the priority list.

Stopped here for the night, all town down, cleaned the floor up a bit and cleaned/reorganized the tools..

Have fun getting the mounting holes to line up. It’s a pain. Also make sure you buy some “rubber cutting board feet” on Amazon to space the amp from the panel after you carpet or paint it. Most amps have the fan vents on the back side and they get blocked when you flat mount them.
