I just switched it over to this fuse so I should be good to go now. It's confusing because one of the videos from Morimoto shows an install where they tap into fuse in the engine bay which is what I did. The actual instructions however show a tap into the fuse behind the flip out change compartment.

Finally built a hitch receiver after the bob. Went wheeling yesterday and ended doing a recovery in reverse Messenger_creation_F7B8A272-3D70-4CD7-B6C7-032235465106.jpg

Fixed the fuse issue. I tapped into the wrong fuse location per a video that I watched. I did some more research and actually read the instructions from Morimoto and shown below is the fuse that you need to use. I ran the wire in through the firewall and connected it here with the supplied fuse tap and all is good now.

Attacked the top end a bit today to do a little more hunting for signs of bad head gaskets, but looking ok so far for 200k. Might need a tape measure to see what the gap is at on these guys though! Two of them were so gummed up in there so badly I thought I'd be doing my first spark plug thread inserts, but it appears the threads are just filthy. Going to get a chase to clean them up and do plugs and boots as originally planned.

Now to debate if I do the lower intake gaskets or not, I'm tempted to just leave them be though. Was also missing both nuts from the intake manifold studs but didn't appear to be leaking on either end thankfully.

Changed out the PCV valve on my 2014 V6 Prerunner. Old one still rattled but was filthy and jammed in there (could not get it off myself, went to a local shop and he replaced it for me at no cost!). This might make no sense but the truck is riding astonishingly better after the swap and feels like I’ve recovered some lost hp. Much smoother overall. Original issue I was trying to diagnose is a rough-ish ignition/start and it didn’t help with that. Already have new spark plugs and a new AGM battery (plus voltage booster) so moving on to other ideas and open to your suggestions.

I replaced mine earlier this year and instantly noticed a smoother idle. Have you cleaned your MAF sensor lately?

Got my winter tires put on yesterday at Firestone.

They tested my battery and said it's testing "low". It's almost 7 years old, so figured it would happen sooner or later.

Went out and got a new one today and swapped it out.

Buying new inner tie rods and spc ball joints.
SPC ball joints only lasted about 25-30k miles which is completely unacceptable. Tie rods lasted 30k (moog) any other people deal with this?

I “cleaned” mine after 220k miles and it wasn’t even dirty.
