    here's a probably dumb question....
can I use 5100's and stock coils in the front and a block or AAL in the rear to obtain a 3" lift? will the 5100's set that high be a rough ride?

will it be enough to notice if I have the 5100's all around and stock coils and a block in rear?

Actually no the 5100's with stock coils does not give a 3" lift and its not rough at all... im running this set up and i like it so its not a bad way to go

Check my pis and thats almost what u would look like with the set up u want... the only difference is that i have a 3" progressive leaf pack in the rear so it sits a bit higher than an aal or block set up

I ran my 5100s @ 2.5" with stock coils for a couple months before upgrading to 885x coils and getting LR UCAs. Ride was rough and my alignment sucked.

decent ride... it's my DD so I don't want to be bouncing around but close to stock. cost depends on what the set up is... I was going to get a full OME with dakars for $1700... so anything under that lol
