what type gas cap?? certain ones will actually make the cel come on.

 

Or the infamous o2/AFR sensor code???
Just got mine takin care of few weeks ago...

 

i had the damn 02 sensor problem last year,replaced the front one,now the rear needs to be changed,pain in the ass

 

It was one from Autozone per their recomendation. In reading a little more on the forums here someone mentioned pulling the negative battery terminal for a minute to reset the computer. I put the new cap back on and pulled the cable. Started it back up and so far so good. Will see what happens tomorrow. You are right some do espically with the newer trucks. Mine is a 98... first year I think for pressured systems.

 

yeah, sorry....i coulda asked if you had reset the light/unhooked the battery cable. hopefully, that will keep the light off.

 

installed my AFE Pro Dry S filter because it came in.

 

Washed it.....I know this is not the right place but i didnt want to start another thread....but will salt/slag ruing aluminum wheels?? cause i havent washed it in about a month or a little over and they have been slagging the road like crazy here lately, went to wash the wheels today and theres dull spots all over them.

 

Changed oil and swapped to mobile one synthetic with lucas.WHAT A DIFF!

I'm installing a Viper 5901 alarm on my 2002
Tacoma for the last 2 days, What a pain in my Asss. Finding the right wires is a challenge everything else is easy. I wish i can get some answers with this installation.

 

Put my DDMs in over the weekend. WOOHOO!

I had a Viper Security and Keyless Entry System installed yesterday. So far so good. That sucker is loud too.

 

changed oil at 160,000 and rotated tires today.

 

Took mud flaps off and painted my front emblem black. Super simple but very gratifying!!

 

It shouldn't ruin the wheels, the dull spots are prob just brake dust
