48 is old? You need to wait 20 years before you can say that. :D

Newbie here. Had my Taco about a 2 weeks now. Yesterday had the flowmaster 40 put on with a turned down tip dumping under the bed. I also modded the grill.

I live just a few miles North of ya in Allen. What model you got? I see Prerunner but what year, DC? Mine is holding up well after 106K miles on it. It's a daily driver about 70 miles roundtrip, almost paid off now. No major issues at all, just normal maintenance. I sucked 45K out of the factory tires and I am now on my second set of tires only, Hankook AT's. Still got life left in them too.

Welcome to TacomaWorld. Lot's of good information in these pages. :)

Nice I am sure you will see me around! I hang out in Allen. It is a 2009 Double Cab. It was a lease turn in with 31,000 miles on it. Got it at a VW dealership of all places. It was bone stock before yesterday.

Next I am getting a keyless entry/alarm, window tint and then move on to the bigger stuff. I am going with a gray, black and red theme.

Might move it, might not. Only have 2 hella 500's coming in, and it does kinda fit right there.

There are two threaded holes in the rear of the driver's side engine compartment against the fender side, that are perfect for relocating the horns if you wanted to.

I just think seeing that one horn there would look weird with a mesh grille.

Nice day to wash, wax, and put Aerospace 303 on all the trim. Won't last for long though since it's supposed to rain on Tuesday and the wheeling trip next weekend is bound to be muddy.

And I am probably going to be moving it. It would probaby look very weird with the mesh grill. Thanks for the tip!

I don't need two horns to honk at massholes, do I? :D

WeatherTech floor liners, tailgate hoseclamp, Famous Fab sliders, Brute Force Fab rear bumper, Icon "3T" suspension.
Icon suspension complete. This measures exactly 2" above stock on all corners with the Taco lean taken out, but it's a little more level than I wanted. The back end is down 1/2" because of 100 lbs in the back but I'd prefer a bit more rake. I'll just adjust them in the future and get another alignment if I don't like it. We'll see how it looks with the new tires. Getting alignment and 265/75R16 Duratracs tomorrow.

This shot was hurried in the rain and was all I could take before the lens got wet.
