What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Honestly, I think you could probably make your own thread for it. There are tons of O/R guys out there (myself included) that would love to do some color matching. You did a really good job on it.

I'm really happy with the outcome myself and it only cost me about 20-30 to do both sides.....it's the tools you need to do it right that's the killer......I used a $700 hvlp and a $500 air compressor not to mention the hoses and fittings and filters and stir sticks and measuring cups so it can get expensive but I already had the tools to do it. On the other hand dupli color makes a paint match for our truck in a spray can they sell at autozone. I have used this stuff and its actually pretty good stuff and cheap!! The problem is getting a good hard clear coat out of a spray can ive tried dozens with no luck.....looks good at first but never hardens like a factory paint job. Anyways I would be willing to offer this service but people would be out of side view mirrors for a few days and with shipping costs and materials and time it might not really be cost efficient

I don't know how it is for everyone else, but there is a Carquest down the street from where I live that has a paint department. They can put any color you want in a rattle can as long as you know the name or code of the color. They also have a factory style clear coat. The only catch is that you have to use it within 4 hours of mixing. This is in Ventura, CA.

Got my Blitzpro mounted up. I may move it up a little to split the difference between "Toyota" and the bottom of the grille, but I got tired of finagling with it today so I'm done for now.

scored some EGR inchannels off craigslist. installed today.

 

Gave her a bath then got the tires muddy going into my "driveway" went slow so the truck is still clean

 

next time for sure. I'm not sure if Sam's Club delivers, but I have a buddy with a full size F-150 at least. Didn't really think it though to well.

Installed a G4 elite.

 

CB install 2' firestik works good but not great, good enough for an everyday setup. Big trips i'll get a 4 or 5 footer for. SWR was a bit fussy to tune with the 2 footer as well, best i could get was a smidge over 1.3 on a single channel. Overall loving the setup so far! Highly recommend the uniden 520xl radio, good stuff.

 

Wet Okoles back in my new DCSB and the interior LED's. Along with some other odds and ends
