Registered on Toyotaowneronline.com and discovered my truck is part of the Lower Ball Joint recall. I took into the dealer last night. They're going to take a look at it today. We'll see what they say.

Anyone else have the recall done?

De-badge and Tailgate Decal. I WAS planning on doing it outside, until the weather decided to get all prissy.

Installed an hid kit, super bright and awesome however if anyone is thinking about installing them be sure to buy a 40amp relay harness for them, factory wiring doesn't supply enough power to light both it'll only light one and the other flickers and turns off.

Depends on your kit. The ones I have from slimcubby are perfect running off the stock wiring.

Wish mine had been plug and play, relay set up was super easy tho and is 12v constant so I'm still pretty happy with them and the light out put is ridiculous

I had a set from GG-(censored) and they weren't worth a shot on relays or not.

I painted them with a quart of paint I had sherwin Williams mix me a wek or so ago. They look really good except the one small piece I dropped in the F'n sand haha it's ok I cleaned her up nice and it shouldn't be too noticeable when on the truck!! And yes they look really good.....just as good as stock in my opinion. Ill post pics both here and on my thread when I get them back on in a couple hours after the clear coat cures!!

I have SSM door handles and mirror covers...thinking about painting mine black, or swapping out with someone that wants my silver pieces for their black pieces.
