Yup. Taste like fish.

 

I don't remember what it was made of. The strength comes from the different alloys in it as well as a heat treat. Our 10 gauge armor was just a hair heavier than 10 gauge A36. Not to worried about clearance, or vehicle height. I lifted it so that i could add extra weight. I will also probably switch to synthetic winch line. The truck sits level now with only 135 pounds on the front. I'm hoping to get some rake back once I get the new bumper on.

I got my new tires put on, Firestone M/Ts, 285/75/R16

 

Installed the Drop Stop neoprene gap guard between the seat cushion and center console. It matches the Wet Okoles quite well.

 

Pic makes it look like you have mad taco lean. Tires look good!

 

Thanks, any you are right, I need to get it on level ground and check it, I have a 1/4" spacer on one side, and a 3/8" spacer on the driver side, I think I might need to replace the 3/8" with a 1/2" one after I check it.

Also, now my pregnant wife cant get in my truck... Good thing we have her Honda CR-V.

I put a decal on and fixed a VERY annoying squeeeeeekk in my front end. I know it doesn't sounds like much, much identifying a tiny noise and getting rid of it is almost the most rewarding thing in the world!!

found a random wheel and tire floating around at work today; going to tape off the outer edge paint the center spokes black and use it as a spare the tire will have to do for now, at least it's the same size as my BFG's unlike the stock spare under the truck right now, but I'll eventually come across a decent MT at work to mount on it instead









not related to my Tacoma in any way, but later in the day I turned my work van into a lowrider by throwing about 85 steering gear racks in the back, lol
