went to remove my skid plate to repaint it with bed armor and broke a bolt... doused it with deep creep and used a bolt extractor on it.... broke that... I'm starting to second guess installing my complete OME lift :(

    yes
A trailer is almost always a better option for heavy loads. Cheap to rent, easy on the truck, and when a seal/bearing/axle/spring eventually dies, it's not your problem.

Why are people comparing 1200-1400lbs equally to 3200lbs ?

We need to start a "I Use My Truck Like a Truck" List.
    Not fair.
If it was in kilograms, we'd be all over it.

And when I had a 3/4 ton truck, I used it like a truck.

With a well under 1/2 ton cargo capacity with passengers before going over gross, it's a stretch to call the Tacoma anything more than a car with a large trunk and decent offroad capability.

Washed and started clay bar on the truck. Only got the hood and roof completed and sealed. It's amazing how much stuff can collect on the paint in just a year.
